Hitting full boost at 3400rpms. She spools fast no lag, at least I can't feel it if there is.

 

I thought they moved the old turbo setup from the green monster to his personal Z, gt42 if i remember correctly.

How much boost you set at? I passed thru indiana last week when I drove from michigan to TX. Thought about stop by your place and injected performance but didn't have a enough time.

All of us that race bikes race from a dig. I switch over and make my nice car a modded car and everyone races from a roll. I say it's vagina crap. Real racing is from a dig. That's how it's done at the track.

That talon is badass. I missed going to ORP because i had to work sunday.

 

That Z is awesome and Hal is the man. That talon is nice too, reminds me of John Sheherd's dsm. seen it stall off the line and still crossed the finish at over 200mph.

Yea it is sad it has been sitting in the back of the shop since there are no real drag racing organizations to go run in. He called me and asked if he could take it to Indy as I was out of town, so it is definitely nice to see it make some passes. He also won the Battle of the Imports race in Dallas, he asked if he could go a day before the race started, so no time to prep the car, just loaded up and took off.

 

He does have an SC with a 2JZ that runs deep in the 9s (9.1x) but I think I got him to love the VQ more, so that car sits in the shop collecting dust with all the other projects we don't have time to work on.
