i have a automatic 2006 350z the reason i got a automatic was because of my family. no one in my family knows how to drive stick so there for they would have a hard time taking my car out the drive way in the morning because where i live u can not park the car on the street

i really want to turbo my car ... but i have heard alot from people that if you turbo a automatic it is not good .... i want to know why the *** isn't it good ? whats the difference between stick and automatic? all i ever hear is stick is faster ...

and when i tell people my car is automatic why do they tell me to go supercharge?

how many of you have automatic and have a turbo?
what kind of turbo are you guys running?

is driving in tiptronic same as stick ?

have u guys ever ran in to problems?

First....we use punctuation and grammar here. This isn't a text message. There is nothing wrong with running a turbo set-up on an auto. Just like with a manual.....you must build the transmission to accept the applicable power.

 

so lemme get this straight first....people that you can't teach to drive a stick shift car are going to be driving a turbo car with an auto?

IF they can't learn to drive stick, they shouldn't drive a aftermarket turbo car (even with auto)........just being honest but someone would be getting hurt quickly

to answer your q.....if just basic fi on stock motor, just due a valve body. If building motor, need to build trans and do valve body at some point.....

When you combine a turbo charger with a automatic transmission the back pressure gets all discombobulated.

 

Top off the methanol blinker fluid and make sure the muffler bearings are ceramic.
