Seems as though I introduced this issue in post #2...I'd love new shorter lines with 90 degree fittings!!!

The kit does come with all reusable fittings and plenty of hose so you can custom install the kit to your car set up. So depending on the placement of the oil cooler meaning if you install the oil closer to the filter the lines could end up too long.

i will be more then happy to send you couple 90 fitting. Just make sure you know what you are doing assembling the hoses, it is very easy to make a mistake and end up having a disaster on your hand .

Pm me you info and we will get them out to you .

Sam

We made our own lines using all 90* fittings. (GTM did not have the lines in stock and we needed the kit ASAP)

It's just Aeroquip push-lock hose and fittings. Comes in either black or blue, and the customer liked the blue

Oh, and the worm clamps aren't necessary, but the customer just wanted the added peace of mind, which is understandable.

Why don't you just call (909) 481-4300 and ask for Sam.

Because I've been working with him over PM.

Thanks for the advice.

Call him, its better that way.

I replaced the broken fitting with a 90 degree fitting and the kit fits much better. I doubt it'll grind the floor now. After thsi race weekend, i'll rehose the whole getup similar to how chris did it. Its the best way to do it. I had the nipples pointing up on the oil cooler to prevent air bubble build up, but it makes piping a nightmare on the Z.

Don't complain about him being slow over PM's then. If you don't like to wait, call.

IMO, if you are looking for a fast response then call. I will vouch for Sam being one of the fastest vendors to reply to a PM on this board though. Props to GTM for good customer service.

Not sure how I'm "huggin the nuts" when I live on the other side of the Country. That's just my honest opinion after doing business with GTM. I'll vouch for any shop that has good customer service and gets me the parts I need.

He's just jealous that you get responses and he doesn't.
