Default GTM Oil cooler install

Does anyone have pictures of the oil cooler install? My fittings and lines are sitting lower than I'd like and I just want to see how others routed the lines and placed the fittings.

Thank you

I had the same problem with the lines sitting too low. GTM needs to include 90 degree fittings NOT 45.

Anyway, what I ended up doing was mounting it on the passanger side. I cut a slit in the front brace (aluminum piece) and slid the cooler up about 3 inches.

Just coil your lines, that are also WAY too long, there is no other way to do it.

It is really depends on where you are positioning the oil cooler 45 will work but if you are a little too low to start with then the 90 will defiantly help that .

We do Have the 45 and 90 available . I will add an option to choose from on our web site to make things easier.

My car is real low. I'm going to need a line with the 90degree bend on one end.

I don't have the GTM kit, but my cooler is bolted to the underside of the bumper brace/support on the driver side. I did that so the lines can ran naturally without bunching up. Basically, on a G, it sit right behind my driver vent on my nismo bumper to give reference. Clearly this wouldn't work if the brace is removed for intercooler installations.

I forgot to take pictures but her is an update.

I put 3k miles on it, and the 45 degree AN fitting is leaking. In order to make the lines run, I had to bend the line and the added pressure on the fitting caused the O ring to fail and it is leaking. GTM needs to include 90 degree bends NOT 45 degree bends. People ordering should specify as well!

I will be replacing the fitting with a new one soon and it should be fine otherwise.

Yeah.. I sent Sam a PM with suggestions to improve the kit. I am replacing all the fittings with 90 degree bends. The added stress from the long lines is wearing out the O rings too fast. I have oil spilling on top of my oil cooler and leaking out from the thermostat.
