Update- Got tracking numbers finally as far as i can tell it has been entered into the system, they haven't been picked up yet. Which sucks. But there is nothing i can do but wait... i mean i cleaned out the garage already and put together my cosworth i dont know how people could wait so long for kits! lol. The only joy i get right now is there is little to no gravel on the ground right now and the snow has since all melted AND its like + 5 here.... so i get to drive the car still

Only Albertans, to remain an Alberta resident you have to study a 350Z Hayes Manual and pass a test! If you fail they ship you to Saskatchwan

I would offer help but with the issues I have had as of late I don't want to touch another bolt on a VQ35 for at least 3 months. However if you run into issues PM me I will try to help. I have swapped most drive train parts on my car myself as well as installed the turbo kit.

Gord, if this was true you would be long gone.

. I have several issues that I have caused myself but most are very minor issues, the used engine I bought has been my major head ache if it wouldn't have had issues my build would have been almost issue free and running along time ago. Most mistakes I made have come since the cam broke and certainly since my paitence has wore out I find i am causing myself more issues. If it was easy everyone would be building big power cars themselves

I'm just messing with you. I have been following your build thread, and the amount of bad luck you have had is just crazy. I am looking at buying a short block myself, and would like to do all the work as well. Seeing the problems you have encountered makes me a bit hesitant, but I will probably still buy (new) one anyway.

I bought my engine when I thought XKRs used one was sold then it came availible again and i kick myself for not getting it. I would be in the 800whp club right now

But a new FP short block would be the way to go.

^^^sucker!
here it is. actually only the heads are XKRs as the cylinders were pretty tapered, so Sharif didnt reuse it and gave me a different core

you never had any short block issues though.

The OP should be in the 1k club easily with twin 60-1s after the install.

500whp on the stock block anything less is a waste with those turbos, might last a week might last a season. Then build a stout engine to mate the 60-1s to.
