Hey guys, just checking if this is an ok quote for the ati procharger and borla true dual install + parts. Sounds a little high to me, but it's a very reputable performance shop.

IWHat is the ECU? I thought that the ATI kit came with a DFMU to piggyback the stock ECU. What is the hourly rate on the labor?

That price on the ATI is very high. I have gotten quotes from www.superchargersonline.com for $5200 (not even group buy), and go to www.intensepower.com. Their regular price is $4995, plus they have a special group buy price that is even lower. Good Luck.

 

that shop is charging more and more everytime I call. 3 months ago, they were charging $6000 installed with the ecu upgrade. last month, they were charging 6500 installed with upgrade. I just called today and they said $6800 installed without the ecu upgrade.

 

supposedly, ATI was giving them a price break on the procharger last month. No such luck this month so the price went up.

I think the labor rate is $68/hour

 

Also, that shop refuses to install anything not sold by them. So even though we do order the Procharger online for around 5k, they won't install it. Time to look for another installer.
