Those fans look good if they are covered by the bumper. The only thing I would change is the frame the fans are sitting on. Why not mount them on a tubular frame not a plate like shown. That way you get the advantage of having the fans plus outside air will still get into all other surfaces of the IC. Good numbers by the way.

Ya know, I run the stock G35 front clip, and part of my IC is blocked by the crash bar..............and I make ok power!!!!!

Its all about core size and mounting location folks.

Hey thats My Car! hahaha

Its funny how I was just reading up and there is my car being discussed without me!

THe IC Fans are there because I do like the OEM look of my car. I do not plan to change the bumper unless I change the sideskirts as well. If my money goes anywhere, its going into more power, but in go and stopping!

My Base line on the dyno pack was 235hp and 200tq. earlier that year on a roller dyno, it put down 242 hp and 235tq with the same set up.

Overall, I am Very Happy with the install and the final results. All the pics are in the thread over on G35driver...

oh, I do have to comment that it was UpRev.

The previous car it was on dyno'd at 373hp on a Utec with the exact same set up, same boost levels, exhaust, etc.

If you had them mounted freely on a tubular frame then the fans wouldn't force as much air through intercooler. You need the shroud to make the fans work more efficiently. Also there isn't much outside air because of the bumper hence the fans.
