will hks exhaust work with my tt setup??
i have a greddy twin turbo kit waiting to be installed... as well as my shortblock.. my goal is 550-600 hp.. will i need a new exhaust besides to reach that goal? is exhaust gonna crucial when it comes down to the extra horses?? i have the hks right now.. also what size test pipes will i need?? 2.5 gonna be enough or should i go bigger?? and do i need open dumps for my greddy kit?? it is like 600 bucks wasnt sure if that was work the money.. also how is the blowoff valve on the greddy kit?? is there a purpose of upgrading or is it just for sound?? which blowoff valve is best.. thanksss
I'm assuming you mean built shortblock What greddy kit do you have? The 20g tuners have open dumps and long downpipes negating the use of testpipes. Last time i checked greddy kits for our cars don't usually come with a BOV. Also, I think cams will be a big help. I have the 20g kit and built block w/s7 cams being installed @ Forged right now and I have the XO2 hks knock off...going to see how that does on the dyno.
best bet is to run it and see. you are a long ways from worrying about your exhaust.
Sounds like you have an 18g kit. I would definately get the wategate relocation kit as well as the 3" downpipes. Without a doubt. WAy more important than the size of your exhaust.
no it doesnt make any sense to upgrade your BOV
no you dont need open dumps either, but if thats all that comes with the wastegate relocation, yes get them
