He asked how to get more power, not what you think is right. Move along.

Just like I thought, you cant even answer my simple question about EMS/METH/AIT and instead went on blabbing about something else.

A better EMS and a AIT solution will increase horsepower every time. Exactly what the OP was looking for....

And about the HP increases, its already been debated with every post by DAWK254

he made more power using a haltech and meth and you hated/disbelieved on every word of it...

not much more to say to a closed mind...

again, every thread about turbonetics or stillen you can stay out of. Not everyone is a baller like you and can just dump 1 FI kit for another.

FYI i'm not agitated.. i'm simply here to educate.. BTW.. how many Stillen Kits have you got extra HP out of with a different EMS and Meth?

don't worry.. i'll wait while you answer

ok you've won the debate about EMS/Meth adding hp.. now a couple questions for you that will aid the OP in this decision to follow your advice

1) How much hp increase do you expect with adding a better EMS and Meth?

2) How many cars have you had experience with personally that have done this setup?

3) What will be the maximum hp out one can expect with a setup like this you have suggested?

4) What is the cost ($) vs benefit (HP) ratio on a setup like this?

I've decided to open my mind to your knowledge, now please enlighten us further

Default Stillen

Thanks for everyone's advice my goal is to get 450+ HP to the wheels. I would like to keep the Stillen supercharger cause I like the instant power and sound. Might go TT if this isn't possible.

Go TT, that is an unrealistic goal with the Stillen. Sorry, but it's true.

Stage 4 (although i have never dynoed mine) from what i've heard, hardly puts out more then 300 whp.

If you are dead set on keeping the roots blower. Have someone custom fabricate to accept, and tune for an M90 blower vice your tiny M62. But money better not be an option if you go that route because it certainly won't be plug and play!

Default Stillen

I have mucho experience with Stillen Stage 2-4 for years..If you like the Stillen and are happy with the sound and power keep it. Going to a Stage 4 will give you maybe 10hp...You wull NEVER get more than about 330rwhp from the Stillen no matter what they say..They claim 425hp at the flywheel for the Stage 4, try about 380hp, trust me...If you really want 450rwhp you will have to sell the Stillen and probably go TT..You cannot add meth and a smaller pulley to the Stillen and get anywhere near what you want..The Stillen maxes at 7.5-8psi and that's it, sorry...For 320rwhp and 310 rwtq at Stage 4 you can have this all day long if you are happy...It is what it is..The blower is small and makes good mid range torque and average hp, that's it..If you want to go over 400hp/tq then suck it up and go TT..I did after going through engines, blowers, I/C's and Stillens wonderful Customer Service...You can PM me if you like and I can call you and objectively answer any questions you have and give you the facts as they are...I am on engine 3, blower and I/C 2 and make 320rwhp only....Let me know...Stillen out, TT in.

I agree 450whp out of an M62 is improbable ( just to not say impossible ). Even with an M90 450whp would be very difficult....though possible.

I love the Stillen setup, I just HATE the fact that they chose such a weak blower for it. They should of AT LEAST chose an M90 or better yet, a Whipple.

Who's gonna build the first 600+whp Whipple'd VQ?

Take it easy on the guy. Hell it's his first post. You guys sure do know how to leave first impressions with my350z. And to the OP like JayZ said nos, It's the only way to hit your power goal with a stillen kit.

Properly using NOS maybe. I don't think you're engine will last long if you just strap a bottle on. Otherwise everyone would be using it.

I consider myself a nice a guy. And some people on here just like to get off on giving someone a hard time. Some of you guys just make people hate my350z And that's not what this site is about. Yes he should have searched and of course stillen is the worst FI app out there. But you don't have to bust out your flamethrowers.

Just so you get your facts right here is a quote from Wikipedia.

"Nitrous is an often used as an abbreviation for the nitrous oxide, also referred to as NOS. The term NOS is derived from the initials of the company name Nitrous Oxide Systems, one of the pioneering companies in the development of nitrous oxide injection systems for automotive performance use."

N20 is used in the medical field.

And just for kicks. My old Z started with a 75 wet shot. Then Procharged, Then Turbonectics ,And the the powerlab. All on the same stock block. And Sold it as a stock Z. It's ALL IN THE TUNE.........
