I didn't go into buying this car without researching. Going off what stillen claims and other stillen owners they claim around 400 hp I didn;t think it would be that hard to get it around 450+ rwhp. The price I paid for this car is the same I could have got a stock 350z so I look at this system as a bonus.

And just for kicks. My old Z started with a 75 wet shot. Then Procharged, Then Turbonectics ,And the the powerlab. All on the same stock block. And Sold it as a stock Z. It's ALL IN THE TUNE.........
wikipedia? you do know that's not a factual source right? NOS has never and will never be a formal abbreviation to nitrous oxide. NOS is an abbreviation to the company Nitrous Oxide Systems. Before that company was around there was no slang "nos" in our vocab. Nitrous is the short version of Nitrous Oxide.

NOS would be nitrogen, oxygen and sulfur....

so the wikipedia "fact" is just knowledge that some person wrote on there and nobody else cares to change. An abbreviation means a shortening of a word. NOS isn't a shortened version of nitrous oxide.

and you're right, it's in the tune!

In the car world you call it NOS. It's been that way since the beginning.
Now N02 back in my younger days was referred to as Hippie crack.

Come on Chef, I'm almost 32 lol. I have been to Deer Creek, to so many festivals I can't remember. Got to see the Greatfull Dead in 1995 for the last time with Jerry. Those were the good ole days. Even though the cops through tear gas at us. And one of my friends got knocked out. Pine Lakes campgrounds was the ****.

When I can afford it and the JK gets some miles It's getting a RIPP supercharger. There putting out 260whp not bad for a 4dr JK. Compared to base of 140 whp. Those #'s are with 35" tires too.

thank god i found someone with some sense!

it's one of my biggest pet peeves since i hear it all the time. this town is full of 16 second 1/4 mile civic racers that all have nitrous systems installed on their cars but haven't used it yet "because they haven't gotten it tuned" (for the past 3 years). They still use the nitrous purge all the time around town though

Is their car primer gray for those three years because they're "gonna get it painted when their kit comes in next week" too? (I love that one)

Yeah, but i bet they are actually working on their cars. We're talking about the young kids that primner their Honduh then talk of how it's gonna get a/b/c done to it. Then three years later nothing has been done!

stillen does sound good. Buts that's it. A stock 370z would probably smoke ur stillen kit. If I was a hard core autocross racer then stillen would be my choice.
