Turbo Z, any suggestions on Turbo size? Help!
Reposting (I'm new to this forum stuff so please do not comment if you have nothing positive or anything that won't help me) Thanks!
So I'm planning on boosting my 03' Z Enthusiast model with around 60k miles. Now i'm planning to build my own turbo, and I'm going to go with a single turbo set up. My question to ya'll is exactly what size Turbo, wastegate, BOV, injectors, fuel pump size and any other additional comments about the matter would be appriciated.
With all that said, I love boost, but I'm not so Turbo crazy. I would like to keep the stock internals and would like to make a respectable 390-400 WHP. I belieave it's possible but I need all the help you guys can give me so I can acheive this goal.
Ps. I'm aware of all the additonal stuff I need, E-manage, turbo timer, tunning but I need help with the actual sizes of the important stuff. Oh and one more thing, where can i get the headers, they are super hard to find!

Stop the dreamer threads
We dont care what you decide on
We dont care that in 2011 you may go ST or TT
Thinking ahead...
We dont care when you ordered your FI kit
We dont care what shop it's going to (yet)
We dont care what whp you want
We KNOW that you wanna run 10's with an $8000 budget and no prior drag experience
Post a thread when it is all said and done with....provide pics, dyno numbers, driving impressions, shop review, etc, THEN you will have contributed to the community and not wasted my time in reading this crap or in writing this response.

Actually HOVA lol (Jay'Z) is right. if your goals are that weak u can just get a weak turbonectics kit and call it a day. futhermore IF U DID SEARCH u'd find for your goals a powerlabs kits is the best move. so essential you FAIL. good luck to ya
He is a tool, Dave the Mod locked this damn thread already.. I guess he didnt get the hint..... So he created another.... Pls lock this too Dave..
De La money, thank you for you simple comment, that's all I needed unlike Jay's comments. Now as for the power, not everyone wants 500+ whp so it's a matter of choice and taste so yea anyone can buy a complete kit and just do it, that's the ovbious. And Jay, the moderator locked my my first post because it was in the wrong forum you idiot, get your facts straight, and once again get a life, don't you have anything else to do rather than negative comments that don't contribute to myself or yourself? Seriously I don't have time for your unuseful comments so please do me a favor and stop replying.
Another one?
OP, you have to realize how ridiculous your original post sounds. Like boostedprobe said, if you are asking such basic questions, you have no business attempting your own turbo kit. I'll even go as far as to say that even if we told you EXACTLY what you needed, down to the last nut and bolt, a year later you would still have no turbo kit. Truth hurts. and I know that being a vendor, I'm supposed to be positive and kiss peoples asses, but I've been here since '05 and can't even count the times I've read this exact same thread. And guess what? 99.9999% of those fantasy builds never even got off the ground.

E-manage
and turbo timers #1 requirments for FI as soon as I saw that it was a dead give away buddy has done "0" research and wants to spoon fed all of the info. Op you may think everyone is being ignorant but we see these threads every day that are exactly like yours. Please read the link Jay posted and boosted probes link in his sig might help, and read through the FI section then come back with informed questions and you will get more help. Many of us spend countless hours reading and actually building our set ups and don't feel like giving all of hard work away to every guy that comes along dreaming about a turbo Vq35. Yes forums are here to share info "share info" not give it all away to those who are to lazy to search for it themselves
That being said do some research come back with better questions and you might get some help.
Headers tough to find, you have got to be kidding every vendor on this web site will have them as well as every performance shop that is any good at all will be able to get them.
and yes everyone that posted in this thread has all of the answers you wanted.
