i really don't know which section this would go under so i posted it here.
My 350 **** the bed, and im in the market for a rebuild. unfortunately i don't have near enough cash to build it the way that i want.
i would like to go TT and be able to hold 600whp.
but i really only have half the money i need to do everything.
so i was thinking about setting everything up for the turbo kit, and running it like that until i save up enough for the kit (maybe few-several months).
i just really don't know how the car would act running 8.8:1 without and FI behind it. or weather to go with an emanage ultimate, or UTEC.
i would normally just wait until the entire build is done, but i really miss driving the 350.
anyway, if it helps at all this is what i plan to install:
03 6spd
wiseco 8.8:1
eagle rods
ARP L19
Cometic gasket
APS cat delete
UR pulley set
ACT Streetlite
haven't decided on clutch
kenetix IM
and i already have an AEM CAI and Borla TD.
any help would be appreciated.

it'll be me mostly, except for the things i dont have to tools for, like the machineing. i meet some cool people that own a shop here in town, and maybe i can befriend them enough so they'll help me put the bottom end together. if not, im doing it myself.

RedbullRR has a good idea there since the blocks are cheap to pick up.
My suggestion:
Wait to do it all at once. You don't want to completely pull your motor out and apart, rebuild it, put it back in, and then have to yank it out again to go for a TT setup. I'm not sure how much you've looked into which kit you want to go with, but I have posted and will be posting lots of pics and specs on our SP TT kits available to you in the near future.
For the engine management I highly recommend the ProEFI box whether you go with the 48 or 128, they are both great systems. I would highly advise against the emanage as I have seen nothing but headaches from them. The UTEC is a better route, but when dealing with a highly modified engine (such as a built and twin turbo'd VQ) I wouldn't want anything less than a full standalone and an experienced tuner behind the laptop. You are in Arizona so you might want to check out Intense Power as they are very familiar in this area.

lol Id love to see a low compression NA running around. haha. I understand the feeling about lack of funds, im still deciding on what to do with mine. I would suggest the same as purchasing a built motor, swap it in or just wait till you have or acquire the funds to build. I dont think (not sure nor an expert) that a low compression would work well without boost. Ohhh i know, get one of those echarger things its like a turbo but electric and adds HP. J/K. good luck

I thought I was in the wrong section till I saw that thought maybe I was in the 370FI sub section
OP do more research your parts list is very incomplete ( injectors, pump rad ect ect) and several poor parts ie: Cometic HG, UR pullies and Kinetix intake.

How many people start projects and end up taking wayyyy longer than expected to finish or never do?
IMO and obviously many others you should never build a motor for FI and drive around NA, there is a right and wrong way to do $hit and your not on the right path to your goals....
UD pullies on a built motor with FI? That alone tells us all your lack of knowledge why assume the risk?
Dont be that guy in the video, dont be a J !
