Default Custom Intercoolers

I was thinking about ways to improve my F/I set-up and have an idea I would like to share and ask for you opinions & input.

Do you think a custom made intercooler could be designed to incorporate one or more of the following: oil cooler /cryo /meth

I was thinking of soldered tubing that travels either thru or around the intercooler that would carry each type of fluid separately. My thinking is that such a design would save space and make maximum use of the intercoolers charged air.

Any feedback??

Dont have to much experience in this field, but from using logic... running an oil cooler in with an intercooler like i think your saying may create a counter effective warming to the boosted air from your cooled but yet still hot oil.

Already exists:
These are inter-coolers that have ports built in to allow either Cryo2 or Nitrous to pass thru.

I would check around to see if anyone has used them, because the feedback i've gotten on these is 'not-so-hot'. I know someone with a FI Lexus who lost 40 rwhp by installing this intercooler. Must have had a defect or leak to lose power.

You could use air to water intercoolers also.

Alot of Pro-mod outlaw guys use them to cool those massive twin setups because of how efficient they are. A small air-to-water IC could do the job of some of the large IC's most of us are using.

Just another food for thought.

air to water still need a heat exchanger, essentially another radiator.

So dont think those setups are any smaller or easier to setup

air-water IC's are better for short usage such as the strip. air-air is superior for the street.

just depends on where the OP does most of his driving.

Most of my driving is on the street. I am intriqued by the idea of having an intercooler that would incorporate oil cooler & cryo/meth lines. If done properly it would seem to me this could be beneficial.
