Mods pls don't move.

I don't post here much but I was one of the first APS TT built motor cars and post here a lot. The throw out bearing failed on my car and damaged the ATS twin disk w/1350kg pres plate springs. I can't find replacment springs locally (Houston) and really can't be without a car for a week. If anyone or any shop can help me out, I would be very greatfull.

how many springs do you need? only thing I can offer is air'ing them in from Japan, as I dont think they will be stocked in the US (could be wrong...can call both ATS USA and Carbonetics Monday for you)

are you sure that is all that is damaged?

I sent ATS a message. Carbonetics isn't opened till Monday

if you can post or pm any pics you might have, that would be helpful, just to make sure everyone is on the same page

 

Thanks Z1 Performance. I forgot to get pics but its the 2 disks with teeth in the inner diameter. I'll get pics later. The shop here said they will try to locate these 2 plates and springs (I guess) Monday.

Z1, I think I dropped by your dealership way back in 2004, when u first started your race team and proj car, while on a buisness trip to port jefferson.

 

it probably wasn't us, but Pt. Jefferson is pretty nice
