Anyways, he needs to have 3" minimun if he is going to push up the boost....it would be ridiculus IMO to put such performance restriction just because you can take the "sound". Why else bother to push car to 550whp+
My suggestion though is he can probably put what ever exhaust he wants and us the SP cut out....or just do a JIC or aam, greddy, or better a custom 3"-4" exhaust .

 

I would do the SP cut out for where I want to GO... and if im just cruising I can close it up... beauty of the cut out!

 

yah... i mean, that basically eliminates the need to ever upgrading any exhaust when going FI, you coudl stick with the stocker, or even run the injens.... cut out solves restriction issues...
