Default Ross's Twin Turbo build ::PIC HEAVY::

Here are some pictures of my build from start to current. This begins summer of 2008. I did everything myself; it has been a slow project because of money and being in college. Here is a basic build list

Greddy TD05H-18G Twin Turbo kit
Carillo Rods
CP 8.5:1 pistons
ACL Race Bearings
ARP Main Studs
ARP L19 Head Studs
HKS Head Gasket
Haltech Platinum
Custom Godspeed intercooler
-(two in, one out, vertical flow)
RC 750cc Injectors
Custom AAM stage 1 return with Walbro 255
Custom AAM surge tank setup with Bosch 044
Custom 3" Dual exhaust, Megan racing n1 canisters
Custom Open Dumps
Turbo back test pipes
JWT Clutch and Flywheel
Greddy type R BOV
K&N Air Filters
Mishimoto 36mm radiator
Greddy 1.3 bar radiator cap
Greddy oil catch can
Gates race belts
Greddy Profec B spec II Boost Controller
Greddy Full Auto Turbo Timer
Autometer gauges
4 Gauge, 7 wire grounding kit
Custom VQ cooling mod
Other random stuff, not very important.

Stock Block Turbo Installation

There was a hole in the brand new oil pan, had to weld it up.

This is before I welded the intercooler piping.
Tear Down

See the oil in the turbo?

Cracked ring lands on cylinders 2,4,and 6. Cylinder 2 had 90 psi compression.......*&%^ you E-Manage.

That's mike. He's not retarded... he just drives a mustang.

I'll never do it in the car again, it's too easy to drop it out of the bottom.
When i built it i pulled it out of the top..still should have dropped it.

The godspeed intercooler has been great. The intercooler and piping cost me under $300.. Didn't quite have the funds for the $1500 Greddy intercooler kit. What kind of intake temperatures do you guys see under boost?

I recently built a dual 3 inch exhaust, that i modeled mostly from AAM's 3" competition exhaust. I used megan racing mufflers, but i'm about to add some resonators because the drone is crazy without the silencers in, and i hate the look of silencers. I'm not sure of the brand on the test pipes, i got them from mark at SGP a long time ago, but they bolt directly to the back of the turbo. They are 2.5" diameter.

Fuel System

40 amp fuel pump fuse, 8 gauge wire.

Final product. The black engine enamel was the third paint.. the first two were melted right off by gasoline.

I thought Haltech didn't work with the Revup? Does the proEFI work with a Revup?
