WOW! look at the size of this S/C.
Don't know if this has been posted already but check out the size of this thing!!!
it takes 900hp just to drive it, 3200 hp capable the spec's indicate. Here is part of the article explaining this unit and it's application.
"It's hard to believe that engine builders and racers are looking for even higher power levels and increased blower efficiencies than the F-3 models already deliver," says Jim Summers, Motorsports Director at ProCharger. "The F-3 has proven capable of 2,000 horsepower on pump gas and 3,000 horsepower on an engine specifically designed for use with a supercharger and running alcohol fuels."
Make sure your cat isn’t walking buy when you fire it for the first time, it might just suck it in.

can you imagine what kind of monster motor you would need to actually run this thing. even if you were to build a motor that could generate the 900 hp minimum to make it function properly, then in order to make the most out of it you would have to build a motor capable of not grenading at 45 PSI!!!!!!.
I'm assuming this is just for full drag car applications that run alcohol or nitrous and run for a maximum of 40-50 seconds at a time right?

One of the members on our local Z forum ran some numbers on what it would take to run this on a VQ.
"For a 3.5l engine to flow 5400cfm at 45psi it would have to be spinning at a little over 18,600 RPM...................LOL!!!!

where does it say it takes 900 HP to run it? the specs show that it should be used on a motor capable of making 900+ HP in Naturally aspirated form.
I'm sure you'll see this blower showing up on several NMRA Mustangs.....guys like Jim Blair. He's already sponsored by Procharger.
