It is nice that forged didnt charge him for labor for building the shortblock...but I dont see any excuse for the really poor way that turbo kit was installed. I dont know if this is GTM's fault for not making the kit's fitment proper or if it was just installed all wrong. In for clarification..

Drama as always..... Funny thing is this is rehashing in every sense of the word.. Yet I will keep my mouth shut and say Sharif has always gone out his way for me every time as his customer... FP went above and beyond to fix my situation which was at no fault to Sharif but he still went above and beyond my expectations.. I will always respect him for that!! FP Till the death bitches!
Read, that installer was fired long ago...... That **** happened a loooooooooong time ago..

It wasn't my intent to start drama with my post in regards to the shop rating thread.....it was purely my speculation. I always find forged helpful, etc. He seems to go out of his way for the community (airstrip event, etc) and his customers. I think it will be a lose lose for both companies to separate IMO.
P.S. I'm glad Sharif chimed in too and that the employee was terminated.

Yes it's the shops responsibility to step up, which is what he did. And apparently the guy who did this shoddy work got sacked.
I know myself that when i hire someone he is on trial because you can never guarantee a decent worker. So when he screws up, i sack him. Obviously Sharif had a bad apple, but he got rid of it.
IF this is the reason GTM is splitting with Forged then i think they are making a big mistake. Together they make a powerful team, and i'm sure GTM have had there share of screw ups. Everybody does.
Take Garage Fukui as an example. They started out in a hut, and apparently they screwed up a lot. Now they are one of the most recognised tuners in Japan.

I looked at the post on the Shop thread.......and all I have to say is "how many of you have ever tried to install on eof those GTM kits?"
I only have experience on 1 GTM 350Z Twin Turbo kit, but those kits are a disaster of too many pipes in not enough space. It's like trying to fit 20 pounds of stuff in a 10 pound bag. The air inlet piping hitting the fender wells/wheels when the wheels are at full lock....that was an issue on the kit I worked on too......and there was nothing that could be done about it other than redoing the piping.
As Sharrif said, there were errors that happened, and he owned up to them. From my experience with Sharif, he runs a tight ship and is the epitome of professionalism. I would dare to say that this install was defnately the exception and certainly not the norm for vehicles coming out of his shop.

Wow, I just spoke to Sam about 2 hrs ago.
Since I wasn't able to respond in that thread, I will post it here.
This will likely be my only post on this matter.
Forged Performance has been in business for over 5 years, and we literally work on about 400 cars each year and have thousands of satisfied customers. We are here 6 days a week working and managing 30-40 project cars at a time with the 11 employees on the payroll. We've performed everything from simple bolt on's, to full race car prep and custom fabrication. Our consistent track record is well noted on various forums we have always been one of the leading Nissan tuning shops on the country. I've personally tuned several hundreds of Nissan's with a pattern of safety and reliability.
That said, our shop is no different from many others in that we aren't perfect, and we do make mistakes. The people that worked on this customer's car were terminated long ago, and no longer work here. In fact, we haven't worked on this car for well over a year. Clearly, the pictures posted are not representative of the type of work we perform on a daily basis, and there is no excuse for it.

1 - Who does quality control? Do you not QC every car that leaves? If so, HOW did the pictures that Juan posted even exist? I understand that you have bad employees, but do you NEVER check behind their work during the WHOLE build process?
2 - Can we get an answer to this?
I'd like to see more pictures of:
Valves/head
Cylinder walls
Spark plugs
Piston surface
Claims were made, but do not remain proven, and I'm sure these are all things you took pictures of; it would be very clear if detonation/tune was not an issue, and the rods simply could not handle 500whp, while the crankshaft can.
I find it a bit strange that the above mentioned pictures are not shown. "Light tuning" shouldn't be an issue given that there ARE base maps for this car and with Forged's experience with TT VQ37's. Were you doing drivability/partial throttle tuning?
