Default Which Supercharger would you pick?

We currently have 3 superchargers availible to us by the end of November and another in the works. I am sure there are others coming but I know of these four.

Which of these superchargers would you put on your 350Z? Please put comments on why you would select that product over the other three. Maybe your perspective will make some of us look at these products in a different light before we put our hard earned money towards buying one?

For some, hp/torque are the main criteria while others may feel service or warranty or bigger issues.

Dreamworks for the warranty on the motor. If it comes with it.

Dreamworks, It's the best packaging by far, It uses the same setup as all the AMG cars as well as the supercharged Jags. It has a air-water intercooler cast into the design not a bolt on afterthought. Their partner is Alpine devlopments. Do a search they make some really nice parts mainly in overseas markets. If I wanted to rule the world I'd run twin turbos. However, I want a really fast streetcar and this setup is by far the best so far.

Vortech because of reputation, although the Dreamworks one seems interesting as well

right now vortech. I havent seen enough on the Dreamworks yet... also, don't expect a warranty on the motor. Supercharger companies would have to be insane to do that

Default SC ?

Until the Vortech and DW are out I'm not sure. But I must admit the DW setup looks very interesting. If it does what they claim it looks like a sweet setup. I tend to favor the reliablity and instantTQ of roots/twinscrew setup. The Stillen does not appeal to me , cause of the mandatory hood scoop. I want he setup to be quiet and stealth. The ATI whine is louder than expected and the lack of pre-SC filter for the G35 setup is lame. The Vortech SQ may be quieter, but the IC may be less efficient. We'll see, it's good to have so many choices.

at this point it may be between vortech and dreamworkes. if one comes with a warranty it would be nice but, alittle hard to believe. we'll see soon enough.

Stillen is offering an engine warranty with their kit. Many supercharger companies offer drivetrain (engine/tranny) warranties with their SC kits. Lingenfelter does for the C5 kit, and yes you can do the install yourself (not sure about Stillen)

SKK100 has the stillen SC and it ws having pinging problems specifically in warm weather. He complained and Stillen added the new intercooler they just came out with and incresed the boost level up to 7 lbs. According to Skk100, the outcome is much more hp and no pinging.

The negatives are Stillen voided the warranty with added boost and it is not CARB legal now with that boost level.

I am just wondering what part of your research tells you the Vortec is looking like the better choice? I like getting 2nd, 3rd, and 4th opinions so please be specific. Information is power. I need to make the best choice myself.

I'm done my homework, checked with some people.... this SC is the one to buy, without question. I can't wait for the snow to come/go so I can pull my Z out of the garage and proceed to create a monster.
Same question to you, what did your research tell you that made the Vortec the best SC in your opinion?

Every vortech part I have ever used was 110% solid. I am going to stick with vortech until I find a reason not to, and I can't really see that happening.
