I was asking about the Turbo tuff rods compared to pauter. totally different, which is why Sharif must have been thinking of the H beam weight and not the turbo tuff weight. Simple mistake.
from what i see the Manley H beams are in the 500 range and the Eagles are in the 400 range. thus meaning Manley H beams cost more = More Costly..

also dont forget:

Eagles are rated @ 1500hp vs the Manley H-beams which are 600-800hp depending on rod bolts.

Not trying to argue at all BTW.. I see these rods in alot of High HP KA24DE builds.. How about eagle rods?

We are centrally located in Southaven, Mississippi which is a suburb of Memphis, Tennessee.

Some people say eagle rods are forged in china and assembled in the USA compared to Manley which is supposed to all be forged and assembled in NJ.. I just don't see any controversy about this switch.

Gotcha and as a note in both VQ's and KA24DE's eagle rods in fact do seem to be more commonly used.

i never said the EAGLES DIDNT weigh 555g.. but your $600 price is wrong. they can be bought in the 400 range.... so wheres the b/s ur talking about?

and i'll take the extra 45g of weight for the additional 700hp rating..

dont push the issue.. trust me on this... i got no beef with u. im just stating the facts and what was stated here and from both manufacture/re-sellers sites..

Manley I-Beam Turbo Tuff's weigh about 610g (thanks for the correction)
Manley H-Beams weigh about 520g

Each set of rods are initially grouped by weight so each batch of rods may vary. Keep in mind that manufacturers sometimes overrate and others will underrate their intended power claims.

even better.. i'll take the additional 35g (corrected from 45g)of weight for the 700hp additional rating.

Maybe Str8dum1 you need to PM sharif so you can get a clear idea of what the weight and what product your talking about. if im confused its cause of all the different numbers being thrown around about the Manleys...

Well, the official brochure in Manley's pdf doc clearly states that the H-beam rods weigh 510 grams and that the Pro Series Turbo Tuff I-beam rods weigh 605 grams.

I understand that there are slight variances, but that doesn't explain the conflicting info that has been posted here in this thread.
