Gentlemen,

I have been wondering for a while now if my exhaust system is too restrictive for my setup: Vortech V2 Sc with 2.87 pulley.

Current mods to air path:

Motordyne 5/16"
Top Speed headers
Megan Racing resonated test pipes (2.25 stepped to 2.5 iirc)
Custom Y-pipe (2.5 into 3 collector)
Tanabe Hyper Medallion 70mm titanium single

The Tanabe is what has me concerned, I do see normal boosted levels for my car (11-12psi), am I choking things up out back?

 

my old vortech performed the best with nismo exhaust vs my current greddy evo tt.

 

My butt dyno is in agreement with you, when I switch to the Tanabe from a Blitz-NUR spec the car felt much better in the low and mid-range. I am afraid I may be choking it up some in the upper range where the Vortech is meant to shine.
