Overheating Problems
I've got a 350z in the shop with complaints of overheating problems. We ordered him a Koyo radiator, Mishi T-stat and shroud. We're running into the same heating problems.
We've checked for air in the cooling system, flushed it out, re-filled with no luck of improvement.
Previously, the owner had his car worked at in a different garage. Resulted in a blown engine after a couple days. They built his engine over, and taken the heads for a cleaning job. I'm worried they milled the heads down a little too much coz the customer told me the mechanic had installed 2 gaskets on each head.
Any ideas what the problem might be? For summer I've richened up the mixture down to 11.2afr and timing is only at 14* max.
