if they don't fit it's your rails that are the problem.

They fit perfectly in my oem rails and they fit perfectly in my CJM rails.

idk who sam is but it sounds like he doesn't know much about hks 1000cc injectors.

I would just put them in. They'll fit right in.

i thought you said they were only machined in the o-ring groove so it runs an oem oring? That's what i understood at least so i must not have understood how the oring machining affects the fitment in the rails. I don't remember charles saying he machined his either. hmm

explain for us cause i'd like to know for future reference. I guess i was wrong midz.

To use the OEM sized o-ring the OD of the injector have to be machined smaller to match the ID of the O-ring

We should have something 1000cc (maybe a size or two above that for you guys that need that much fuel) in the coming months.

Keep an eye out, I'll be on here pretty heavy the closer it comes to the release date.

Hopefully they are at least 1 of 2 things
1. high Z Denso cores
2. cheaper than other hi flow options such as ID, FIC, Bosch NGI, etc...

i could handle some reasonably priced 1200/1600 cc injectors that had better control that the Precision injectors.

You guys really need that much fuel?

1300cc injector will support over 1200hp for gas and over 900hp on E85.

We should have the 1000cc available soon. ...and we could probably have a special order 1300cc around the same time frame.

There are already plenty of options for that 1000cc range of fuel. So unless your options were much cheaper or could control flat down to 0.5ms IPW, well you guys do market analysis I'm sure.

There's no High Z 1600cc. Make those and you would def make a killing across every import platform. And um dont make them like this LOL http://injectordynamics.blogspot.com...ctor-in-3.html

Well...we try to do everything application specific and drop-in fitment. We have a few universal options for the guys that want to go really BIG, and even then we sometimes have an application specific drop-in option for that situation, too.

I can see that the larger injectors are gaining popularity with the Z/G communities, so you'll see a couple of new offerings from us in the near future.

14.5mm orings with a 62mm body is application specific for the VQ as well as every domestic.

EV1 to denso adaptors are readily available as well. We just need high Z injectors bigger than 1000cc, as low Z options are cheap and plentiful.

You guys make great 600, 800cc for stock block, low boost cars. DW1000cc would be a good option for those guys wanting 700whp

Everything we (will) offer for the Z/G platform is (will be) Hz.

Agreed, you got pretty much everybody covered in those sizes... you are correct....very very few will need that much more, to the point that it may not make it worth it for you to have it as a product that you have to have to many units and dealers might not be looking to stock on a size injectors that will not be used that much.....
Having said that... i am going with 2000cc just from what sieble's suggested me.

^Exactly my point. thats because there are no alternatives in the 1600cc range so you have to go with the 2000cc ones, which are way too big if you ever have to run pump gas.

what about control though?

like you said with your precision 1200's, the idle control is garbage if you have to idle at 12 a/f. I'm happy with 14.7 idle with these 1000's but would like more fuel. I would be willing to idle a little more rich, but not THAT rich.

Mike (i think it's mike from dw), i'm at 1000cc injectors and i'm pretty sure on e85 it will max before i hit 700hp which is a bummer. I hope to make at least over 600hp on these injectors with e85 though. I'd like to have something with a little headroom to get me into 700's on e85 and not maxing the injector to 100%

This is Chris, but Mike is still here I've just taken over the forum duties.

If you are looking to get into the 700's at the wheels, you'll probably want 1300cc injector. The 1000cc you have should be able to support a 600whp car and you can always add a lb or 3 of base fuel pressure to give you a little security.

saad here has run the same injectors and ive seen his car on pump and on pump with e85.....no big difference, jason who will tune the car knows i am looking to make it as streatable as possible....its only reason why i went with them...i would have done some "smaller" RC ones otherwise.
