Default APS TT Kit on stock block??

Hey guys. Looking to get back into a 350z after selling my G35 6mt coupe. I am considering a 04 350z with an APS TT kit on it. The owner says it is an Extreme kit, but I believe it may be another one of their kits as he mentioned pulling out the single walboro pump and I believe the extreme kit comes with dual pumps.

I know the seller and they just took the car in on trade. I know he is just telling me what he knows about the car and I trust his honesty towards me 100%. I will check to see if it has the other components next week such as the fuel rails etc that come with the upgraded kit.

My question is whether or not this kit is too much for a stock block. I have blown engines in other cars in the past and am not looking to go through that again. I know this kit is overkill for my current 400-425 safe whp goals, but since it is already on the car...

What are your thoughts? Right now it has a stock fuel pump in it as there was some sort of an issue with the walboro. Running it fairly hard the other day the wideband was showing ranges of 11.1- 12.6 (rare) (for the most part we were at 11.1-12.2) while going through the gears in boost.

I have yet to confirm injector size, fuel rail upgrade, etc.

Thanks for your input.

Lots of scary questions there for a stock block (or any motor really).

APS Extreme on the springs that come in the kit, would blow the motor in about 38.565 seconds (they are 14psi springs)...so if its a APS extreme, I hope they changed WG springs. If they drop the boost down to 6-8psi you are fine....little laggy for that power, but fine.

I don't know if you have to buy the APS fuel system with the kit. So may have done a custom or some other fuel setup.

Has to be less than 14psi on this one as it feels like 350-400 hp and wideband would be of the charts only having a single pump

measure the intercooler. the extreme kit is 5" thick.

I personally dont like risk, and too much of that deal sounds risky. improper fuel system, and pushing the car hard for unknown time on said fuel system, etc etc

Do a leakdown and compression. Have the oil sent to blackstone for analysis. When all those come back good, then make an offer.

I believe the Extreme kit comes with the APS fuel system. That kit would be overkill for a stock block for sure.
