Bomb350z, good luck whatever your choice, but just so you know the vq35 does not have rocker arms.

Default G ZILLA 5500 total for my boost!

Well for a stock block with the T Trim Vortec my G35 put down 400RWHP at 5K rpms... It boost twice as fast as my last SC style Vortec blower. With belt slip (it was waaaay lose..my fault) I put down 410RW and 327TQ.

Look for the retune/dyno with the gates belt on and tight!

Mods

AAM Angled Spacer
Strup Headers
TiTech Test Pipes
Fast Intension 2.5 exhaust
2.87 Pulley
TTrim Vortec
WB225 Fuel Pump
DW 600CC injectors
UpRev Software although my Stock Vortec Unichip ran just as smooth!

And the beauty of it is single or twin turbo guys...if you do your own work...

I dont have 6K under the HOOD! Eat that turbo freaks! lol. Top End I run you down and spit you out! LOL Ask the Susuki GSXR 750 that was giving me a hard time while driving from DC to St. Louis because my Grandfather was terminally ill. (RIP Gpa!) As I passed him I gave him the BigBird for picking at me for 5 miles doing wheelies and acting dumb. I should of took a pic of him and my speedo because she is still stable at speed.

Total cost of ownership to include graphics, rims, and bike passing top end boost!!!!! 50-150 bucks over 10K over the last 6 years. Rims and Tires 5K so boost and mics was 5-5150...lol

Thats one thing these turbo guys wont talk about, the price it took them to build a car (stock or built motors) a tad faster than mine. It aint worth the money for 50-200RWHP more, which most cant drive them anyways. Some have put so much under the hood they could of got a used 911 or GTR, yet do see it that way. Ohh well to each their own I guess. I BOAB= Boost On A Budget. I set a limit to the max stock block power and stuck to it.

My car is stupid fun and scary at times.... its not so much power I cant use ALL OF IT REGUALLY! But enough to make you think about it. lol

^ also if you go a route like I did, get a fuel return system (make it yourself) since you are going to track the Z. I dont so I dont give her repeated abuse of the throttle, every thing is nice and smooth after the clutch 3rd drop. lol

well I waited 3 second before I decided to see what she would do.

Ill be up at Hills soon to get the 77 Buick. Surpised he hasnt called me and yelled at me yet. Its been done for 2 weeks. Lol. Im thinking of coming up tonight. around 10pm. Text me.

Thanks for the input guys, I have a lot of time to get this done. The engine is currently on the stand and I am stripping it down. getting it ready for the build. With the research I have done and what I want, I think a ST, but have not ruled out the SC.

If you are building at least go the single route or better the twins but no s/c.

Im gonna have to disagree with you on this one.. I used to have a vortech and switched to a turbo setup.

My turbo setup ( new ) costed a bit less actually than my vortech ( new ). and I make way more power and tq than my vortech did at much less boost pressure.

Half my customers so far have bee former Vortech owners. All of them would agree with your statement here Vas.
