Default car hesitating at wot

Hi guys. As stated in the title, my car is bogging and hesitating at wot and after i build about 4 to 5 psi. Ive fixed most of the boost leaks, to where i can build a psi of 10 with my boost leak tester. My next step is to replace the spark plugs. Then maybe the maf? I been researching sites and trying to come up with solutions, but I'm starting to hit a brick wall. My plugs worked fine before i installed the turbo, so I dont really know if thats going to solve my problem. Unless boosting requires cleaner plugs. I suppose it could be the tuning as well. Currently running aem/fic and currently have a conservative base map. Need to solve this problem before having it dyno tuned. i also just changed to pcv valve which helped me build more boost with the boost tester but didnt help with the car bogging down when the car was on and on wot. i live out here in vegas and there arent very many performance shops that work on nissans. Would also like to add that my car runs rich (< 10) according to my aem wideband when my car starts to bog on wot. Can sparkplug misfires cause rich readings? This is pretty frustrating. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

You need a tune... of course you're going to bog with an A/F < 10. You also want 1 step colder plugs... just go to an experienced tuner before you blow it up, they will tell you all this stuff.

Ya, i know i do. Just hard to get to the guy thats initially started working on my car. he keeps telling me hes busy. So Im not sure if hes really busy or if he doesnt want to work on my car. this is the first time hes worked on a vq so maybe he doesnt want to spend the extra time to figure things out. believe me, if i could take my car in right now for a tune and be done with everything, i would. in fact, my wife and my mom nag me about it every day. so since he keeps postponing my tune, i was just trying to do a little troubleshooting on my own. like i said initially. not very many shops here work on nissans. its a honda, mitsu, suburu city. so ya, if you more experienced guys tell me i should stop everything and wait for a tune, then ill take the advice. if you think theres some small things i can check while waiting for the tune, then i wouldnt mind trying.

If you love your car, you will send it somewhere that is willing to work on it and make it run correctly.

If you car is too rich ( especially in the lower rpms ) it could misfire to the point that it won't even rev. Sounds to me like n othing is wrong with it and you simply need to tune your car.

Tuning a Z is no different than tuning any other kind of car (except for the EMS of course). If they aren't willing to give you the time of day they are probably **** tuners to begin with so you're better off having it towed somewhere with some tuning clue.

You wired your plugs back up backwards.

You'd think he'd feel the engine heavily misfiring if he did...but it does kinda make sense.

only at startup. you should not get any misfire when the car is warmed up.
