Default boost creep with small spikes

Sup guys, got a question on my tune here. Notice up in the higher rpms the engine load fluctuates between 22 and 24, which in Vegas = about 8 and 10 psi. 8 doesnt bother me too much but the 10 does. Is there something to worry about when the intermittent spikes of 10 are for such small periods of time? Ive been reading about boost creep and im thinking that mine is due to turbo back exhaust. Theres no cat on my setup so theres no back pressure which may effect the wastegate somehow. This is a third gear street pull. Im guessing if i do a higher gear that the spikes might last longer, which is why i havent tried yet. If it is something to worry about, is there a solution? Ive read that you can port the wastegate, but I dont really want to do that right now. Thanks.

are you running an aftermarket boost controler or just the wast gates? that may have something to do with the spikes, just a wast gate setup doesnt have the flexability to keep up with all the small changes in boost fast enough... either way i dont think that there is too much to worry about running 10 psi even if you still on the stock block.

boost creep usually has something to do with the wastegate not being able to get rid of enough excess exhaust.

10 psi is a good spot for the stock block with a great tune and supporting mods.

Ya, i have just the wastegate with no boost controller. I tried to tune it safe there in high 10s and low 11 afrs. I am on a stock block. its running smooth right now but i was worried about the spikes to 10 psi. It IS the dreaded turbonetics kit that everyone hates so much... so i just wanted to be on the safe side. Do boost controllers adjust to fluctuating pressure? so would it help with boost creep?
