I am a newbie when it comes to shopping for these items so please bear with me. I am looking to get a supercharger for my car. I got the kit in mind already but I want to purchase some support items like gauges. I really don't have much knowledge about them. I know it is recommended to have a/f, boost and oil temperature. So my question is what are things I should know before making a purchase. or is it just pretty much all brand names here. Also how difficult was the install process?

basically you just pick a brand that you think looks good in with your interior.
depending where you mount then, the install is super easy as its only 3 or 4 wires per gauge. It just takes a very long time to run those wires. expect almost a full day to wire up 3 gauges unless your interior is already apart.

some have warning levels you can program, some play back the data, others just do straight displaying and have minimal features
the differences really come in the availability and price of things like replacement sensors, size, etc

I don't know what brands are out there except Defi and AEM. Any other brands would you guys recommend? I am planning to use my a-pillars to mount my stuff.
I decided to go with soft gauges displayed on the video scene of a Pioneer head unit. Using the HKS Camp2. It can tie into OBD2 or the F-CON if you happen to be using it for engine management. One more option for you...
Oh, and I did have Greddy gauges b4 that. They worked great. Had three of them on my A-Pillar.

Okay I am starting to learn a bit more. Now here is a question on AF gauges. There are two kinds I have seen. Narrowband and Wideband. If I read correctly Widebrand are made towards modern vehicles and should be the ones I am looking at?
