Whp = speed
Got a buddy who ran 12.1 @ 126 in a nismo hr with gtm stg1 and 10 psi.
I made 408 on a mustang dyno at 8psi and I beat a 123 camaro and a 122 cobra from 60 mph. Down at sea level we go alot faster... I'm currently tuned to 450whp on 10 psi I'm gonna take a stab at a z06 soon. They trap around 126 down here stock.

Racing from a roll is diff than the track, I have friends that beat LEGIT 130mph cars on the street, and go to the track and cant trap 125mph, no joke.
The launch was better in the lower whp car
I'll post my Dynojet WHP numbers thruout my cars runs, mod levels, you can see its not consistent.
238whp stock = 13.7 @ 101.4
262whp bolt-ons = 13.1 @ 107
380-390whp Turbonetics = 11.9 @ 116mph
525whp Greddy, old setup, JWT S1 cams, 13psi, LETTING OFF BRIEFLY = 11.1 @ 126
600whp WELL DRIVEN is EASY 132mph trap. Many on here require much more power to trap 132mph or higher and well, that just plain sucks
650ish whp is 134mph easy, with a good driver. Unfortunately the norm for most here in the FI section (as most upgrade power before even honing skills at NA levels) is pretty trash.

I have not been to the track because I have a exeddy organic clutch so launches = no no. I enjoy roll racing anyways, when I build I will put a twin disc in.
I beat a lot if cars that are "faster" than me ;-). Gotta know ur car and what you are Racin .

…yeah, in my defense though…I was on the original OEM clutch with just over 90k miles on it…Exedy stage 1 organic and JWT flywheel are in the process of being broken in (4th gear was topping out at 105 MPH @ 6500 rpm), I’ll return to the drag strip soon! Hoping to close in on a 114+ mph trap…
It is for people who do not have any driving skill what so ever.. just my
How long have you guys had the clutch and been boosted? I just got the Exedy stage 1 organic clutch installed along with a JWT flywheel, still in the break-in period, curious how it’s holding up on your car…sorry for the OT…
I disagree with that JET. There is a ton of skill in roll racing, but the guys that dont track and prove it, really have none. Ive never come across a good driver who didnt track his car. Everyone thinks they can drive.
Ive posted 3 or 4 vids with other Z's and similar power/setups where I destroy em, then we switch cars and its suddenly a race, whats that tell you? All these people thought they were decent.
thatguy-the clutch has NEVER given me a problem, been one of the most reliable things in my setup. Approx 15K miles on the triple disc at 525-700whp, powershifts, launches, fast shifts, no issues. You can warm up these clutches too much though, then they grab like a ****, and that cam actually slow down your ability to launch cuz they dont want to let go, but that also saves your drivetrain.

No doubt... i am on OEM rubber so launching is very difficult. VDC helped keep the boost from overtaking things in 1st but also caused complete loss of boost on every upshift.

After seeing ranger acceleration and 11's and 12's on stock rubber I thought I'd give it a chance. I've since gone to NT555 295's but still not enough... I should probably just drive around on slicks or dr's like a built Supra guy I know.
