I've run 12.8 on street tires before. Just got to know how to launch the car.

I think I broke a record with that run…slowest turbocharged G35/350Z in North America while trying and not breaking (can’t confirm a record on the global scale)… I’ll be back though…

Haha. Your very close to my power level so you should be able to pull and low 12 or maybe high 11.

Roll racing is for kids. Time you graduate to the drag strip.

i cut 1.8 60fts on crappy chinese full run street tires, 255/45r18. 11.80's with my old set up. Actually i borrowed a set of et streets and ran worse times becuase i ran out of gear with the shorter tires.
I agree with the roll racing thing, however, roll racing is perfect when you are racing the car vs car (power wise), not driver vs driver. Plus these LA roads are worthless, so dig races on street tires with high hp are useless- most can't help but slide till about 60 mph.

What size were the ET Streets? Most of them are super tall, though your 255/45/18 is quite tall as well. And if you had a better time on street tires, why does your top entry note ET Streets?

20. ashtrojan2008----06 6spd Tour --------- Built Greddy TT 11.864@122.34mph 1.868 60ft ET Streets

The et streets i borrowed were 255/45/16. Was shifting into fifth before the line. They were very dry rotted as well, probably why i wasn't getting better 60fts.
As far as the time goes, i don't have a vid or slip to prove it. I can document many 1.8 60fts though. I didn't want to post that 11.80 and have people ask to see proof and not be believed. I'm not worried about being the fastest or anything, just like to share by build and achievements.
Thanks for your interest

That was 482whp/450tq. It's the video on my you tube at fastlane on the inertia dynojet. Quite a long time ago, that pass was November 2009. The pass is also on my YouTube.

Yea I have the single disk, gtm advised me to not dump the clutch unless I want to buy another one. My last trac visit was with my tn kit I ran 12.1@121 with a built block @499whp

thatguy-the clutch has NEVER given me a problem, been one of the most reliable things in my setup. Approx 15K miles on the triple disc at 525-700whp, powershifts, launches, fast shifts, no issues. You can warm up these clutches too much though, then they grab like a ****, and that cam actually slow down your ability to launch cuz they dont want to let go, but that also saves your drivetrain.
