LOL....driving around in a indoor car park today I wound the window down and 1st gear 50% throttle and lift off I get a little chuffing sound as im slowing down ? Is tis what your getting in higher gears and it must be alot louder as ive never heard it before?
at first i thought the same thing, but it acted exactly the same on the Unichip (MAP based)
i know the Unichip is pretty much a base map but it wouldnt be affected by turbulence at the MAF
Unichip is a piggyback, so the MAF still plays a part in part/off throttle. You need full standalone like Haltech to take the MAF out of the mix completely.

that is what i was referring to when i was talking about surge, but i think we have decided it is a tune issue
