Default Lean at low rpm boost

Hi Guys,

I recently upgraded my fuel system on my vortech 3.12 from the stock FMU + walbro to CJM stage 0 and 440cc injectors and am in the process of retuning the car. Above 3k RPM partial throttle and WOT are pretty much dialed in with no issues. I am having trouble with the lower RPM region especially in higher gears. Gears 1-3 looks to be ok, but that may be just because i'm going through the rpm range fast. When boost starts to build in the low rpm range on a higher gear, I will see afr jump up to 13's. I have tried to dump more fuel in on that region of the fuel map, but it doesn't look like its helping. I was not planning to touch the timing map just yet since it was running fine with the previous setup. I usually don't lug the engine around, but I want to cover all bases. I am new to tuning so any advice would help.

Are you talking about below 3000rpm? if so your most likely fine, but need more info to say for sure.

What are you using for Tuning?

can you post up an AFR Log?

Yes, AFR will go lean as soon as i start hitting boost under 3k. From what I can tell, this is only the case for gears 4-6. Once I am past 3k, AFR drops down to high 10's low 11's all the way to redline. I am still using the SS box, so no logs

There's no reason to be super rich at lower rpms on a cent SC where you are only seeing 2-3 psi of boost.

thats a good point. above what boost do you want your AFRs to be less than 11.5? Same question for RPM
