Question i have a engine problem need help

hi all,

long story short, my car had been in usa for 1 year stopped do to some paper worked finally the car is hear in Kuwait

i changed oil and coolant, cleaned air filters ,battery (but didn't change the spark plugs)

now to my issue every time i go in fifth gear around 5000 rpm to 5500 rpm at say 110+mph the car just cut off and fells hard but when get in lower rpm every thing get back to normal ?? not sure if its missfire or bad spark !!

the strange thing thats only happen in 5th and sixth gear also the HKS AFR start to show nock signs !!

the second thing is that there is a air-leak sound coming from the right side only when the car on neutral or when i push the clutch down but when i push the throttle down in any gear the sound go away ??

other than that the car run great

where u able to look under the hood for the air leak sound?

Well I looked but nothing that I could see without taking the test pipes and turbo down

How are your afr's when this happens? Boost pressure? Spark plug gap? Check plugs but it sounds like maybe overly rich or boost creep hitting boost cut. Just a couple ideas.

sounds like boost cut and possible vacumm leak

I agree, sounds like boost cut which makes sense that it only happens in higher gears. Higher gears = more load = more boost = more likely to hit boost cut.

maybe ur leaking to much air from some place and the car is going rich and cuts off.

update

no vacuum leak check, no loss hoses..

i disconnect the vacuum line for boost controller and now the car drive totally fine on waste-gate spring which is 9psi

do i have to just reset the boost controller ?? or what could be the problem ?
