You're looking for reassurance? There's no guarantees any way you slice it. You might last 500 miles, you might last 100k+ miles. If you don't have the finances or willingness to be ready to rebuild at any given time, aftermarket FI isn't for you. ESPECIALLY if you actually track drive your car hard...like I know you do AJ.

LMAO at stock block champion! SuperchargedG, what PSI and AFR do you run at?

Me im on Crappy Turbonetics Setup @ 8-9lbs making a little over 410hp. Mine is tuned pig rich and usually stays under 11.2afr....also very little timing. I added a oil cooler and Greddy Alum oil Pan to keep the oil just a tad cooler. The shop I use is a firm believer that oil temps under forced induction is the death of these motors.

Im on my 2nd motor from oil consumption, been on Nitrous since 800miles to-61k miles usually 2 bottles a weekend.@ 100Shot.... Boosted for the last 12k miles.

Also my car is tuned with Osiris.

If u don't mindme asking what numbers did u put down at 9psi? Getting my revup tuned next week hopefully at 8-9 psi so kind of looking forward to it. Thanks foe the mileage info though! It helps!

I purpose of this is to basically give people the idea of how many miles and abuse can the engine take under boost with alot of miles or being boosted for a long time.
THANKS for the thread, this helped me to make the decision to keep my car stock.

You weren’t going to boost your car in the first place.

If you got over 60k on the clock, i'd say save some headache and power-lust and go with a built motor now. I see very inexpensive shortblocks from IPP, not sure of the reliability though, but places want the same amount as the SB in labor to put it in.
