Did TurboXS disown the 350z UTEC?
Sent a PM to Jermaine at the Genesis forum and here is the reply;
"We haven't added the UTEC products yet as we are trying to configured all of the items so that the support is handled properly. Bare with us!"
So they are still going to have these.

Good news.. Thanks for the inquiry!
No reply from them yet, any chance someone has the user manual and software kicking around & could e-mail it to Maximaparts@hotmail.com, you would be a life saver as I'm sitting here playing with myself & I need to be making money.
Also, even just an e-mail address for tech support would be better than the website e-mail form. Thanks

Here we go! TXS did indeed discontinue the Z's UTEC, according to their site. It's listed as 'discontinued' under the engine management section, link here : http://www.turboxs.com/shop/product.php?id_product=246
So much for that!
So much for that!
they have discontinued selling them as they are cost inhibitive versus an ECU reflash system.
And they are still down to email all software updatesa vail if you have an older version.
I just bought one, and Pete at Intense just bought there last 6 units Turbo XS had made.

This is all good news, well, almost all of it
So with the latest UTEC updates, how does this differ from the Osiris? Key differences please...
1.
2.
3.
I figured I would ask here because this thread is pro-UTEC, lol! I've searched elsewhere and others state Osiris is sooooooooo much better!? I don't know what to believe, but do know that I don't want to mess with my stock ECU, nor do I have a steering wheel with buttons, so map switching won't be possible.

OSIRIS is probably a better tune from what i hear and ahs some features UTEC doesnt.
I looked into this before i bought Z PHAT Zs UTEC last week.
UTEC will control solenoids on a 3dmap, like nitrous, alcohol etc. ( im going nos, thats why i did the UTEC)
UTEC does not allow cam control, and does not raise the rev limiter, but can add in its own soft limiter.
Basically its going to give you timing and fuel and air control, has its own knock sensing ability.. thats it. ( Thats the boiled down version of that sentence btw).
So basically, there are some large areas of overlap between the two systems, but the UTEC is its own animal in other regards.. and theres certainly times whe it is THE way to go....extemely safe from what i hear w the knock limiting and OEM rev limiter.
Also from what i hear ( also not IMO, just here-say) our engines dont really make much more power past redline anyways... so no point in it for me.
We shal see... interested to get the UTEC installed and tuned next month when the NOs comes in.

UTEC has a map selector switch.
but for uprev ( and to get your cruise back) You can also take your OEM cruise of your old steering wheel.. i did last night.... three tiny wires.. two screws.. stick it whereever you want.
super simple.
