ebay turbo kits?
Just a quick question, what's the catch with these eBay kits? 700 bucks for a whole kit? Has anyone dealt with these? You can flame me for even asking, Idc. Just curious. Thanks guys.
no flame. There pretty well rounded kits if u dont have the funds for a 8K TT kit. i had 10 kids in 2010 so with my tax money i could finally go FI. If it wasnt for these little stinky bastards i wouldv also bought a ebay kit
those kits come with "universal" piping and manifolds... nothing will route around your engine properly.. its jus all ****ed.. and prepare for some ish talking about not searching for this topic that has been brought a million times.. jus sayin
yeah i know the feeling.. i would try and search for used kits is ur best bet if ur struggling with money.. believe me im not rich im always looking for deals.. get in the marketplace and jus look around you might find sumthing.. but to get one of those ebay kits to work would be a headache and a half..

I think there should be a default on the forum when the combination of certain words are posted in the a thread, that the OP computer be sent a virus. Maybe then people would be more careful on what they post... Some how I still doubt it.
yeah they will 100% not fit.. look at any real turbo kit and jus look at the bends on the manifolds completely different.. there is no fuel system usually on the kits.. the turbos on them are garbage.. there is no reflash, etc that comes with it.. if u took this to any tuning shop they would have no idea where to begin.. i know it sounds negative.. im sure it isnt completely impossible.. but u would have to add a whole lot of **** to it.. like almost everything
Like I said, on my phone. Can't search. Thanks for the information man. All I needed to know. Good to find a non d bag on this website once in a while. I'll just look around marketplace till I find a good deal. What's usually the cheapest single turbo kit new?
save up some money and buy a boosted performance kit and be done with it, or the momentum st kit which looks promising. Don't even start until you have $10k to play with. Little things add up quick.
if u can find sumthin a TN kit for like 2k with decent miles on it then i would debate it.. theres a few upgrades to make on it that would make it a more decent kit but its a start for jumpin in the FI game.. i was kinda in the same bought a while back and i can tell u now boostin ur car is money money money
