Figured I would check in this section if anyone planned on going. For those who don't know what this is just search TX2K10 on youtube. Lots of fast cars. Its a little of both from what I understand. There are events to attend but the real action is on the street at night.

 

Is it well advertised? (basically would I be a sitting duck) or is it quiet?

how are the roads traffic quality etc...

It is a 4 day event - track day at MSR, two dyno days and 1/4 mile races out at sealy
There are also a couple night meets which usually turn into what you see in the videos. Road quality is very good, and usually the whos who of high HP cars show up to strut their stuff.

 

yea its pretty badass from the vids. i watched a video where a 6xxwhp cobra was getting ruined by everything he ran into. its no joke out there

 

The TX2K events began as a national Supra meet and is still primarily one, but has since expanded among the other makes/models including Z/G's, Vipers, Lamborghinis, Cobras, Turbo F-Body's, tons of bikes, and more!

It is a 4 day long event that entails road racing, dyno day, drag day, show-n-shine, and the infamous "Mexico" street racing.

pretty cool looking at all of the youtube vids and finding yourself in them lol. Too bad there weren't more z/g's out. as far as i know, dad and I had the fastest z's out i didnt see your car, were you in it?

 

Yeah i was there in it, i didnt see any serious Z/G's out either, other than Meatbag's monster G. I was all over the place throughtout the weekend bouncing in between import reactor and tx2k11, i missed the dyno day + road race day but i was at every night event and made it to the sunday drags before i headed back home... Mine was the black/black z on fat kdw2's + a mastergrade diffuser.

+1 on the youtube thing, i think im in like 4-5 of them so far xD but none with my car in it, more so me standing in the background taking pics/vids. lol
