Yeah, with the power and weight my car should be in the mid to upper 150s. As far as safety equipment goes my car is good for 9.9@135 with the 6pt cage...however Im already out of the MPH range and im not putting a full cage in the car. 150+ requires the use of a parachute(so I can say my car needs one haha) As far as ET goes..im not too concerned...im expected bottom 10s since I finally have some suspension work done in the rear. I want to see how far I can push stock axles.

Pretty far. =( The machine shop owner is deathly ill. It was supposed to be done last week but hes been in and out of the hospital so he said end of this month. Once I get my new block back the engine will be together a day or 2 later.

man good to see you back.... I guess they couldn't keep you band after taking the cover of modified... When I made a post a while back asking for you and some others to be let out of jail they threatened to ban me.

I'd love to see your car run deep into the single digits.

So, are you planning on going out to the drag strip again only to get kicked out after 1 run? Just put in the full cage + a chute.

Seriously? You're really going to rehash when even the OP's not saying about it?
(BTW, I had nothing to do the with ban, but I did read about it and was bummed)

295/35/18s suck pretty bad. Spins till about 80 on only 10psi. Ill be running 325/40/18 drag radials next year with boost by MPH(gear) so ill let you know how that goes.

He means it when he says 2 days!

Good to see you on the forums again Mark. Cant wait for spring to get here so we can chill out in the pike. This should be a fun summer. I am thinking about keeping my old weds and putting some 325s. You never know i might show up in the track or in the 1/4 mile to race you homie haha.

Not much work lately. My engine will be done Tuesday so the next couple weeks are going to be busy for me. Started making the tube front end tonight. Needed more room for everything up front and this tubing is much stronger than the composite OEM crap. Even got the hoodlatch to fit. This is still in rough draft form. Once its finished it will look much nicer.
