the 3.3 will give you the RPM you are looking for. you may even find yourself at a more ideal RPM, depending on your torque curve which i have never seen.

Sick. I don't see the video though...all I see is images.

Edit: Search YouTube for "350z TT @11psi tuned by GTM topspeed at 182mph or 294km"

just like when you resprocket a crotch rocket. you can peg 300kph on the dash but really are goin like 100 LOL!

350z speed readings i believe are taken from the ABS system, meaning after all the gearing... so only a tire diameter change should effect the gauge. i havent compared the tire size, but if he was running a shorter than stock tire, his oem cluster would read slower than true speed, if it wasnt buried.

i dont think the 3.3 will require much a retune, its some more load on the engine which i guess could come into play at those speeds, but nothing a higher octane fuel and perhaps a psi more of fuel pressure couldnt take care of just for the run.

actually its because i use stock suspension and JIC coilover rear springs only .... spear me the flame plz... i did that so i can go over speed bumps without damaging my exhaust or other parts

i miss how my car handle before with coilovers

of course the term "stable" is probably very relative to our own personal comfort levels!

Its from his tires, you have it backwards. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html type in the tire sizes. OD on the stock tire is 83.8 inches and his tire is 78.4 , so for every revolution of his tire the car moves forward 5.4 less inches than a stock tire.

The cluster is working perfectly.
