VORTECH OR PROCHARGE???? which kits better
Lol you guys are harsh! I love this forum.
Op, I see more success with the vortech. And I would go with a tune immediately after install. Look into osiris, uprev, utec, etc.
But use that handy dandy search button to find out what ems you want and fuel solution

Wow..never thought I'd see this thread again...I was a total noob...thanks for reminding me..the cars built and and boosted now..learned alot over the few years..close thread?
If you think you'll never want over 425whp then go supercharger…they will not scale past that without modification.
If you think you want a built block and 500+ whp then really consider a turbo kit and a built block.
I had the procharger setup on my car and I had a great experience with it. 5 years and approximately 35k miles. I had it rebuilt under factory warranty. I think procharger makes a more complete kit as compared to vortech but the vortech is a great kit too.
you may be able to install this yourself but you must dyno tune before you start going wide open throttle.

plenty of VORTECH superchargers north of 425whp, a few over 500whp too.
Procharger is a POS compared to vortech. There is a reason no one is buying new porcharger kits and you never see them being installed but yet vortechs are being bought and installed all the time.
The reason you probably think sc's wont make more than 425whp is becuase of the crap pulley/belt setup on the procharger flexed and shredded at higher boost levels.
