hahaha, this cat cuts straight to it, lol! basically guys, he doesn't want you to suggest, he wants you to tell him what to do and buy. my suggestion, wake up at 5am, have the SC kit out of the box and your tools ready to go! buy a 12 pack of MONSTER and get to it!!! you could possibly have everything installed by 5am the following morning (24hrs). at which point you turn the key and the car either blows up, bwhahaha or you rip out of your garage down the street and into a telephone pole, lack of sleep my new friend.
i guess if you have money to burn, making huge mistakes and misteps is secondary, lol!
j/k around... i'm in a similar boat, but have already decided on the Procharger. i've seen both kits on our cars for years now, i just like the Procharger kit better. at the speed you want this installed, a turnkey SC kit is what you want. this i believe is the Vortech kit, low boost on a stock block. there, you're done

Get a single turbo kit or twin turbo ESPECIALLY as you don't live in California. I know you said you don't NEED a turbo kit but you also don't NEED an SC. Why would you want to spend more, for less power and less reliability? I've had my TN turbocharged Z for years and I just get in and go. I don't have to worry about tightening cog belts, alignments, slipping, loss of power, potentially annoying noises etc etc.

30k miles on a vortech and zero issues...and have taken down many turbo z's..having a turbo doesnt exactly mean more power and def. doesnt mean better reliability and why would u be spending more on a supercharger than a turbo setup...In actuality u are running a kit that has more problems than any other kit that has ever been made for a Z...A good install goes a long way..

^ lol, here we go, weeeeeee!
yep, the guy wants a SC, not a ST or TT!! *sigh*
i have 3.9FD setup and love driving around in the higher RPMs at times. partially because of the sound and a SC only compliments this (my) setup. some of us don't like the feeling of getting punched in the kidneys and breaking our tires loose 1-3rd gear or at 70mph!? i also like the fact that this power bolts up to the front of the motor. there will always be pros and cons to both forms of FI. and i will admit that i know turbos are more efficient all around... i just like the way the SC delivers the power and the smaller gain is fine by me. i'll stay home, i don't need to go BIG, lol!! some of us have enjoyed our n/a cars for years now, but want a little more as our cars age and every other sports coupe starts to double our power numbers. 450-475hp at the crank is plenty for me

Typically, SC'd Zs makes less power than turbocharged Zs and typically turbo systems have less issues due to less moving and mechanically connective parts. The only problem I have encountered with the TN was boost creeping which was fixed with a different pipe. I also got a Greddy E-Manage Blue which I admit is much better than the flash. Oveall, my kit has been bullet proof.
