Default I believe you

I have heard about an even lower price with intercooler, but I am sworn to secrecy . . . uh oh, now i'm in trouble

Next question: I paid Doug the extra $200 to keep my stock plenum ("core charge"), because I thought I might need it at smog check time.

Should I sell the Crawford plenum and replace the stock one, or does Greddy use their own, or should I stick with the Crawford if I get the Greddy TT.

Another question: Will Greddy get California CARB certification for the TT kit? If so, how long do you think it will take.

The reply you stated above was to my response to this thread. Yes Ravaz, I did read all your links and I did not catch that the IC was included in that cost. You will also notice I stated, "unless I am incorrect".

You do not need to use terms like "Are people blind not looking at the link" or "Sometimes I wonder why I post on these boards no one listens". I was pointing out a cost based on what I thought I read. Just because I did not catch that detail regarding the IC, it does not mean you need to use inconsiderate language that is insulting to another person to get your point accross. When I make an error, I will admit it. Lets keep the site civil among all of our members please. We are all here to enjoy our cars.

People are jumpy tonight.

Richard, I think you should keep the plenum on the car with the turbo. You have been one of the NA pioneers so now you can be a pioneer with a cammed turbo car with a manifold. Yay I'm excited.

I have been seeing prices from $6500-7000 for the TT kit and the IC with 18-20 hours of install time. So a total of $8500-9500 installed. If you have a better source please let us know.

Zland,

I think this is the type of post Ravas was referring to (with respect to the initial price, not the install time).

It made me laugh after reading your little exchange.

D'oh!:

Ravas has contributed so much to this site with his experiences with the ATI and AA and now going low compression etc. We have all gain a lot of experience/knowledge by him posting all he does.

Maybe I should have not taken it too personal but I did. The important thing is we keep focused on the more important things like great hp options and boy are they coming and coming soon.

I love how much fun things are getting for Z owners. Just within a couple months, we got Vortech, DW's, and Greddy as well as PE TT coming to market. SportZ is testing and I cant wait to be there on Dec 13th to see the ATI go head to head with the other SC kits.

I am really excited about the Willow Springs track day on March 5th. At this point we got 30 350Z's signed up to track their Z's ranging from stock to SC and TT. I think this will be a great day for Ca. Z owners. Jeff@ performance and Greg from Mossy will be running there cars among many more owners.

The information regarding timing and fuel management are promising for all FI minded Z owners. Little disagreements and misunderstandings are all part of the deal when info is changing back and forth so fast. Actually, it is just a speed bump in the big picture.

Jeff

I wasn't trying to single you out, don't think that And don't take it personal, didn't mean it to be like that.

I was just saying, alot of times people post stuff, when there was a response, and then theres the same question in the same thread again. Look 2 different times in this thread, I posted a cheaper price for the kit and people were still asking about if the price they found, could be found cheaper, when it was more then what I posted. I'm just saying its annoying (not pointing at you), and sometimes you feel like your wasting your time when you contribute. I don't even know if what I just wrote makes sense

Back on topic, the install charge for the Greddy is 12 to 14 labor hours, you can keep the plenum, but there may be an issue with the height of the Crawford strut brace. Don't forget that the Greddy kit does not include a turbo timer, boost controller or guages. You can install the kit without them, but will probably want them. Good luck!

Jim Jones, if you go with the Greddy TT, you are an animal. Maybe you should just got for it all the way and go low compression and build the internals. I just dont want to see you install the Greddy them 1 year later, tear it back apart and rebuild the motor to get the big hp.

Hey ravaz, find another engine to build from scratch? I think I'm following your foot steps as well. I'm going with GReddy's TT's with my current engine. I'm searching for a crashed Z or G and going to buy the engine and build up the internals. Then when it's time drop it in with the TT's and pump up the boost. Are you up and running yet? I must say $5895 is the cheapest I have seen with the IC. Are they a GReddy dealer? I guess I'll go check.

Well Folks,

I have placed my order for the Greddy TT and the required boost controls and gauges. I am waiting for them to come in. The shop (SP Engineering) said some time in early January if everthing goes right.

Awsome bro, have a blast with that setup!

I'm still waiting to see results with everything before I commit. I am still looking at the Greddy & PE kits seriously, but damn the DW's warranty, dealer covereage, etc. looks totally awsome, plus I wouldnt loose money on my nismo headers. Hmmm....

Hey Adam,

Do you happen to know how long it will take for the exhaust manifolds to get here?

Thanks,
Jeff

So without doing a bunch of searching, can someone tell me what the fuel management for this kit consists of? Is it the e-manage or is it a plain FMU like the blue box from the Honda kits? Bigger injectors? Will the new injectors fit the stock clips?

The Greddy Kit will come with an e-manage + larger injectors (440cc RC Engineering injectors). It should just fit into the stock clips I hope..
