Default Question on forced induction and fuel

Hey everyone! I'm new to the forum, and am very satisfied with what I've been reading so far.

I have some questions, since the z already has a high compression ratio, it is advised that you use premium fuel. My question is, if I wanted to install a turbo/supercharger, what kind of fuel would I use? Could I still use premium? Or would I have to use something with a higher octane rating? And if so, what would the octane rating be? Thanks!

Alright thanks! Does the 93 octane run fine? You don't get an engine knock, or any other problems?

Totally depends on your tune - afr & ignition timing. FI should be dyno tuned with knock sensor for a particular fuel/octane.

Higher octane will buy you more margin. I have 3 fuel programs: 91 octane for low boost, 100 octane for medium-high boost, and 116 octane for high boost / aggressive timing. There is about 150rwhp difference from 91 to the 116 program. This is on my Z32 TT.

I also have a 100 octane program for my Z33, and it makes about 12rwhp more than the 91 octane program (N/A). We have spent hours tuning both cars though.
