Default Gauges!!!!! for F/I!!!!!!!!

Not even sure if i posted this in the right section but i hope i did...Ok ive been searching around seems like the best gauges to go with and to monitor to ensure the saftey of your car is boost Air/fuel, oil pressure, water temp. Seems to me those are the most used but i was hoping to get some info on best place to buy these maybe in a combo package. The only gauges i can find in a combo are on ebay and they seem a little shady. But i appreciate any help.

if you retain the factory oil pressure gauge, which is quite accurate, not sure why you would need an aftermarket one? i plan for boost, a/f, and water temp.

OP, i found Marshal gauges on ebay thru a fantastic seller (y2llc)
These gauges are the CSX versions, are extremely well made in USA, have low and high memory, warning lights etc... and include sending units if applicable. Very cool.
I always reccomend buying from a site sponsor, but if you cant find what youre looking for, i bought a full array of these and the quality is absolutley top notch. ship very fast, and she is open to offering discounts if you email her.. all her auctions are also make an offer...

Water temp w sender

those are all you "really" need.

(I removed the nitrous and voltage units as they are no longer needed. )

Since you are in the military:

Boost - Defi
Oil pressue - Defi
Oil Temp - Defi
Air/Fuel - Innovate

I also run a Defi voltage gauge just to complete the look.

Depending on what your setup is, you can almost run zero gauges, if its just a simple setup on a stock block. The A/F and boost are at the top of the list, won't need the boost if you are using an electronic boost controller that tracks peak boost.

Kyle at Import Parts Pro has some of the best prices around:

It is vague... like my pressure is around 15psi if its appx halfway between zero and the 30psi mark.

OK. In my prior experience boosting Nissan 240s on the SR platform the chassis did not include a gauge per se but an oil pressure light. If you ever saw the light come on it was too late so we had to run oil pressure gauges. I guess I should not have assumed that the factory oil pressure gauge is accurate. I monitor my factory gauge and it behaves just like my aftermarket gauge did in my 240sx. Higher pressure cold and as the car warms up pressure rises and drops with rpm. It works essentially the same as my aftermarket gauge worked. Not sure what more you need to monitor??

It only reads 0-60-120psi. The difference between 10psi and 20psi at idle is +$4000

Says the dude who has an HKS exhaust. (Lol im not a fan of the z33 hks exhaust, it disgusts me)

Defi is legit, but I'll be running VEI Dual A/f + Pro Sport electric boost gauge. A good friend of mine is running the Pro Sport gauges and they are pretty sick and reliable, esp for the price.

From what I've seen, an oil pressure gauge is not that useful. If the pressure is way low, you are kinda already screwed...
A/F is a bit different, as that can serve for tune analysis etc, and boost is similar as it can notify you how well your car is setup/boost leaks/exhaust leaks.
If you want to be really cool, get a set of EGT gauges and put the sensors pre turbos and tune your car off that....

I have the following:

DEFI Boost
DEFI Oil Pressure
DEFI Water Temp
Injected Performance Dual Wideband Gauge

You should also think about getting an EGT gauge and Oil Temp.
