Default Utec help!!

I did search prior to making a thread.

I wanted to street tune a little bit coz im getting some lean spots , I use Jeffs software to data log. I tried doing 2nd gear pull and 4th gear highway pulls, my utec does not register anything more than 40% load.
I thought it was my MAP sensor since it was not reading boost. I got a new sensor, It reads boost now but still 40%load.

Would this be an issue with the COM-USB adapter i'm using? It used to register load all the way to 100% about a month ago. I connect through tuner which is in line with utec.

Is my UTEC dead?
I recently blew an oil seal on my Holset turbo, and had a spare ebay knock off hx40, would that be the cause?

here is a pull report from utec

Have you tried connecting a air hose to your vacuum line to your map and see if it reads higher that would eliminate anything towards the utec and point towards the turbo

well my boost gauge shows the same 7psi reading as the utec, and they are both connected at the manifold , so would that be the same as connecting a air hose

So you got a new MAP sensor? Did you calibrate it?

i got the card with the parameters for the map sensor, but the numbers are high 1130 in and 1753 out , so i'm not sure how to calibrate it, also at idle the map indicates -9 inch of vacuum while my boost gauge shows -18

There is a calculation you have to do with those values and then input the results to the Utec.

I just tried finding the calculations but turboxs site is down.

I will see if i can find them some where

I calibrated the MAP sensor using the formula and the paper that came with it, and still it wont go over 40% load.
I just now remembered last week I had the TB get stuck or it was not responding because RPM would go up and down on idle and DTC said something about electronic throttle position. I reset the ecu and it works fine now. I will check if the throttle opens fully, In the logs the utec shows Throttle position at 100% so i assumed its fully open

here is a log I did , its on a 3rd gear pull

ya but what is your "Map max value for mapping (psi)" under the special tab in the UTEC? if its set to 15psi+, then ya you are prolly only getting to the 40% load cells with 7psi.

That value needs to be like 1 or 2 psi higher than max boost

+1 take a screen shoot of your parameters and post it here or PM me so I can take a look.

Edit.
looking at your UTI log, it look like you shift to the next load every 2 psi. Your "MAP Maximum value for Mapping" is probably 18 and you probably have your "MAP Minimum Value for Mapping" at -2. Utec resolution is already low so let the ECU handle anything below 0psi or even 1psi.

You may want to set the "MAP Minimum Value for Mapping" to 1 psi and MAP Max value to 10 psi (assuming your target boost is 8psi). Like Str8dum1 said, just add 1-2 psi to your desired boost and that will be you "MAP Maximum Value for Mapping". Also dont forget to set you "Overboost Fuel Cut" and you can use the same value you use on your "MAP Maximum value for Mapping" to set your overboost cut off.

There is also a delay on the Open Loop fueling transition so you may want to set your "Open Loop MAP Threshold" to 1 psi below your MAP Minimum Value for Mapping. I had mine set to 0 but I was getting some mild knock at the lower rpm during the switch over from the ECU to Utec so I brought it down further to "-.8". Try setting it to 0 for now and if you experience any knock during the switch over then you can always adjust the Open Loop Map threshold to kick in earlier. Good Luck...
