Considering newer diesels are coming with 800tq or more from the factory I don't see 1200tq after upping the boost and fuel being to far out of the picture? We are talking about diesel right LOL?

yup im honestly not sure what it was stock but considering a tune alone bumps up torque 200-400 ft lbs by itself depending on the truck...............lol yah injectors can bump it another 100-200 ft lbs depending on size its all because a diesel throttles off fuel not air like a gas engine does.

You really need to pick up a ECA (ethanol content analizer)if you are going to be running E85. I am pushing my stock block evo a bit hard, and have concerns about the fuel I am running. with the ECA, you get immediate feedback about the blend. My ecu holds two tunes, so I can change maps on the fly. The ECA isn't all that cheap, but gives me a little peace of mind

I am considering switching my Z over, but it has been trouble free for about 4 yrs now and hate to mess with it. I don't drive much and it already has more power than I know what to do with. And a change over would require a 400 mile trip to my tuner..... definitely not looking forward to that.

the ECA plumbs in off the return line and is analyzing the fuel in real time
Pic for your reference

those things are what, 400$ or so? i just make a safe tune on timing so i won't have to worry. Way cheaper to have a safe tune than blowing up an engine.

my 370 is still returnless, so I would have to run that flex fuel sensor on my feed line... the sensor probably flows enough but my plumbing is all stock and i figure ill just leave it for now. if i build the engine and go to higher power i will probably want to pick one up for sure though.

I wouldn't run it on the front side either.

your car is so stock, you dont even need to tune much. Probably drives the same on the stock ECU.

I heard it's when they use a time machine and send their city to the ice age for an excuse to rebuild everything, annually.

Sorry to be off topic but I figured I'd ask since it seems there are a lot of veterans in this thread. Bout to put in. A built block and I'm curious what I need on the fuel side to be safe. I have the jwt 530tt and looking to get 500-550hp if possible. I have an aem meth kit I haven't installed yet but can. Is the aero motive enough for pump gas?

it should be, you'll be close to maxing it out though. with a fuel return and an FPR u should be fine though
