why was a Comp turbo chosen? They have awful rep on supraforums for being lazy and underpowered with many dynos to support those claims.

Never realized there was that much room above the tranny for a xover pipe. Fabrication look very solid. Good work!

we chose comp due to one of our friends, husson, that has a ford gt. he pulled the supercharger off and did a twin 67mm turbo kit on it. car made 87x on our dyno on pump gas. we loved the oiless nick nack so we decided to try it out. his car has had zero issues with the comp setup. he also used there 106mm back in the day on his viper and made over 1k whp on our dyno on 5 or 6 psi. so far the turbo has worked pretty well. he hasnt got that many miles on it but we will see. comp has been very good with returning emails, calls and question we have had about the turbo. the sound and the power it makes so far on such a smaller turbo, we are excited to see what itll do when we build the motor and pump the boost up. we will be going for about 9 to 10 psi by the weeks end and will be posting up both dynojet and md numbers on it! thanks for the compliment man! and yes there is alot of room under the new 370z!

I want 800rwhp and revs to 9000.

Awesome work guys, Work looks top notch from what I can see. I remember the 350zs you guys did, so I am sure attention to detail is just the same.

Twin 6266 setup please

thanks to you all! the oiless turbo saves so much time and money! no more scavenge pump or build up of oil inside the intercooler or pipes!

Read up on the oil less turbo... seems like a good idea but I dunno lol... what about the longevity of the turbo? and how much more does it cost over a traditional oil cooled turbo?

Would there be enough room on a 350z to do the collector pipe on top of the transmission?

...and I dunno why whe aren't yelling for more of this. Just wrapped my head around this (Boost) and I need more. For those that want alittle(100-150whp) more an not want to upgrade everything. This setup/placement of the turbo is idle....you vets of the boost game can correct me if I'm wrong....

The most complicated thing seems to be fabbing the hot pipe. Other than that seems to be cake..
