Billet 76mm turbo experiment
I agree with rich!!!!!
you want the QSV. I was a Supra with that Turbo and QSV....Night and day difference in performance.
With QSV not activated it wasn't very close between him and me (him on 30psi E85, me on pump
).....with QSV goin it was dead even....he then went something like 10.7@137 on first pass on DR's.

and then thought that there must be a mistake. As far as the drag strip goes, we will give it to Hal to make a pass once tuning is done. He seems to know what he is doing when it comes to big singles

yes it is....way too much for my street tires so i've found (even at 14psi).
oh for anyone that wants to know. The first pull untuned was 514hp on 16psi. A/f in the 9's and timing was only 12* at max rpm. I don't have the sheets to look through all the pulls though. the shop owner hasn't emailed any of them to me and i only checked the curves on a few pulls while i was tuning.

That is crazy to have such a price difference just because it is "GT42" style.
I just called PTE, and I guess the entire turbo centre section is different and housings are not interchangable. The only thing available for that 7675 is a T4 .81 and .96 a/r hosing.
Thanks and I found it:

I was wondering if the gt42 style was any bigger physically that the 7675. Im not too familiar with the garrett line so i have no idea how big the actual gt42 is physically.
So just out of curiosity at the moment lol if the gt42 style was about the same size as the 7675, would a QSV have a chance of fitting?
Hal is correct
I meant that i have a 3 bar map sensor so that's how far i plan on taking it on the dyno before i put the car away for the winter.
Put the mickey's on tonight and did some tuning up to 22psi. With 305 drag radials at 22psi it is not pretty on the street. I won't be doing any pulls above 18psi on the street again after tonight
Here is a little graph of the 6765 with a .96 a/r housing. I didn't start spool until 4k rpms so the boost shown is a little high in rpm. It's lower when i start at 3k rpms which i'll do later this week when i have time.
Sasha, does the 71mm have the divided housing? With what i'm doing on this 6765 I couldn't see anyone every wanting a 76mm for a car driven on the street. I actually was thinking about going to the 71mm but after tonight there is no way I want that in my car! Way too much for the street.

The largest divided housing turbo that PTE offers is the 6766, and it is available as a divided in the following a/r's: 84, 1.0, 1.15, 1.32. That is great to hear though.
I would say i would take one in a 1.0 a/r but i'm so sick of spending money and i don't race below 6k rpms anyways so i doubt it would make any difference in my setup. It would be fun to just have and brag about though!
I still wouldn't go bigger than 7175 unless you are going sleeved... Sasha is your customer going to be sleeved?
I can't wait to get my sh*t rolling again... Getting real tired of waiting on this machine shop... -_- and then after it's all together getting a tune...
thought you where running stock intake and stock cams though?
my bad just saw your revving to 8k so def not stock intake and cams rofl

you'lre goign to be about 6 months too late. I've already pushed mine with restrictive exhaust to 20psi on a mustang. This saturday with my cutout i'm planning on taking it to 3 bar on a dynojet. Based no my mustang numbers mid to upper 600's will be easy. It's already sitting at 560tq on 18psi on the mustang dyno.
