Thats good to know. I have Osiris and was uneducated as to how much it could handle as far as tuning goes.

everything is put together in my car, except my shop called me and told me my kit was missing a power steering pump fitting adapter, and they called around and the only place to get that is from japan and will take a month to get here... anyone know where i can get that?? they said they were just gonna build there own instead but that might cost more..

Its a super simple fitting should take them no time to make the change. Def don't wait on it from Japan.

Nice build. You may want to upgrade to a larger exhaust though, the HKS is a little restricting.

is it a straight through design or does it have a muffler? If it's straight through it should be ok.

Even at 500hp i had problems with flow on my borla and it's dual 2.25" exhaust. The muffler was the issue. It was keeping me from getting boost down to wastegate spring pressure and made a HUGE difference in performance. Over 100hp difference with the same boost level.

hks is dual 2.25 as well.. it is straight thru design i believe with a extra canister before the muffler for the high pitched sound it creates.. i do want to upgrade to a 3 in exhaust... but i cant seem to find one i like.. it seems liek AAM is the only company that makes 3in exhaust.. i kind of want to custom make my own exhaust.. will a 3 in exhaust make a big difference in power??

yes it will make a very big difference in power. and GTM makes a 3", APS made a 3" you can find those used from time to time. Also theres a few local exhaust shops to us that will make you a nice 3" all the way out exhaust aswell

Fast Intentions makes a 3" Exhaust as does Motordyne, I believe the AAM is the loudest of the bunch, I would not recommend it.

Oh and GTM..I hear the GTM is pretty reasonable as far as noise level is concerned.

Just as an FYI i picked up over 100hp switching from my restrictive borla to an exhaust cutout on a modified stock exhaust.

would it be cheaper for me to get a local shop to build an 3in exhaust you think?? which shops?? how much power should i expect to gain with a 3in exhaust?

yea 1000 miles is plenty thats what im doing for my break in i hit 900 last night. I came by intec right after you finished tuning the other day lol just barely missed you. and it all depends. switching to a 3" will yield u somewhere between 40-100 whp i would imagen. But you are also limited currently with your fuel set up. I would get your aeromotive and a fuel return and then worry about the exhaust. Also depending on how loud you like your car you could always just get 2 of these http://www.spracingonline.com/spblog/?p=114

ya, it really depends on how restrictive your current exhaust is.

The piping diameter really isn't the issue as much as the flow the muffler allows. If your current is a straight through muffler design then i'm sure it flows plenty. If not then it would be more restrictive than a straight through muffler.

my final numbers 360whp.. this is on low boost, i dont have a boost gauge wired up yet so im not sure how much PSI im running exactly, but i have the greddy twin turbo kit, and the stock wastegates are set at 5.5 psi i believe. my tuner said it felt like i was barely hitting boost.. i dont know why my TQ numbers arent on there but he said i was at 310TQ.. i am getting a boost controller and my fuel return put in and getting another tune in a couple of months, gonna break in my motor a lil bit more and go for my high horsepower tune.. hopefully ill hit low 500s....

also, i am getting mixed opinions on what oil to use... dynosty told me to use 10w30 or 10w40 Castrol GTX non synthetic. the shop that did my tune is telling me to use 10w40 full synthetic.. i have already had 2 oil changes, i am at 1400 miles on my new engine. i was gonna switch to fully synthetic on my next oil change at 1500 miles. but not sure what oil to use.. are you guys using synthetic or non synthetic?? i did some search and it seems like most use synthetic.. i wonder why dynosty is recommending me to use non synthetic oil?
