supercharger vs turbos

but any time DJAMPS wants a piece of ZILLA, sleep is optional!
Ill even run you Alberto from a dig just to prove I have no shame in losing, but trust me if you dont have your A game on, youll be hard pressed to make me look bad.
Power is power, driving is another thing. Most of these clowns cant drive Alberto and you know it from experience. Ive seen cars with 100hp more lose due to bad driving/shifting skills. I dont have that problem. So the car will out power me, but the driving will be right on par with the best of them.
so the statement above is garbage as to this is someones wife too.... not following the logic there
I know plenty of girls who are excellent drivers. Are you saying your wife cant drive well yet drives your car well because its turbo?
boost performance, I think not.
and yall call my post dumb

At the track Corey wouldnt beat DJ's ET, I highly doubt it, even with 100+whp. Id honestly be surprised if he could trap 120mph on street tires, but he wants to run me from a stop so he must think it hooks?
I dont run my car from a dig on the street or track on street tires, snapped an axle on a 1-2 shift last time I did. Of course a good ol' run what you brung wont have me complaining and will have you looking bad by the 1/8 mile.
Corey you know, all Im saying is stop preaching to a Quior of guys that handle business. You telling me you beat a guy with twins who has Bells Palsy doesnt impress me. Show me you trap 125mph on street tires or run LOW 11's on a tire and I'll give credit to your setup. Until then....its a self proclaimed less than $10K invested AND still slower than a proper Twin setup car.
Bringing up the money is a moot point, we would all be driving Civics or EVo's if we wanted bang for the buck, that $hit means nothing to me in this discussion.
Still waiting on the dyno pic.

but then we can run both on streets at the track too.
Id rather have you all try to keep up with me on Skyline Drive than to quarter mile a car that was built for the road.
Any car can go straight fast. I saw those SRT8 Jeep grands running 11s. I would in no way say that those cars are fast. Quick is a better term. And for sure they cant come close at VIR/Summit Raceway.
To each their own.
This dyno show meth (17psi) vs non-meth (19psi), this was the midnight runs on belt 5 or 6 trying to find whats the best belt to use. Gates seem to be the best so far. 5500 the belt gives up on meth run
19psi on a gates belt is probably my max psi with the longtubes, I actually might go back to stock manifolds to get the 3lbs back, now that meth has cooled down intake temps.
Also these runs were done on the stock driveshaft. The Carbon Fiber Single Shaft has been installed and we are putting it back on the dyno Saturday at 1pm if you want to come out. The goal with this car was Z06 performance when I first got it. Now the goal is a 600rwhp dyno on the Vortech. I think I will be daum close if not more on Sat. Last car on the CF DS made about 38rwhp at 6psi on a TT kit. Who knows what 19 will yield. We will find out on Sat.

For reference your dyno vs my wastegate spring low boost map. Funny you talk about you dont like the Turbos midrange power/TQ surge, yet you are the one with the wackey TQ curve. My TQ curve = no curve its a fawking plateau. Easily IMO manageable with practice, this hooks in the summer in 2nd gear.

daum dude! 3500 rpms you are sideways beast! Like I said you can learn it.. but daum! thats ZR1 tq bro! Id rather not have that much that low.
In city driving I dont really hit over 5k rpms. So having all available at 3500ish is too much for me and my driving style.
With the SC I can stretch out the rpms a bit without too much worry. I also wonder the DJ vs DD difference with PF and Hills.
Still love to run you on low boost! Its MidA tradition to get an Albeezie azz whipping from time to time. 100FTLB difference is a ****!

Keep in mind Hill's Dyno Dynamics stated life at Forged, my first setup was tuned on that dyno, AND I immediately compared numbers the same day at a Dynojet in Atlanta. The number diff at that time if your wondering looks like this.
DD 13psi old setup = 490whp
DJ 13psi old setup = 525whp
BUT, also keep in mind Sharif didnt add any correction factor, last time I was at Hills I asked Frank if he did he told me yes, so your DD #'s may be closer to actual DJ than mine were.
If you think that TQ is nuts I wont show you high boost. 688ft/lbs on pump gas
Also, you keep making statements like "all available at 3500rpms..." that isnt true. You act like you would be WOT all the time even in traffic, I peddle my car well, and start most races NOT WOT to lay down the power as it can hold it. I can drive at 6000rpm's and barely be into boost, dont forget that.....

On the dyno the tuner will do a high gear pull (4th or 5th) and start around 2500rpm which shifts the tq 'surge' down to a lower RPM. On the street in a lower gear and less overall load the tq will probably kick in hard more around 4-4.5k.

since we're talking roughly about drive-ability and torque peaks etc, anyone here running a 3.3fd?
I realized if you can rev to 8krpm, the 3.3fd + 6 speed has similar gear ranges to a c6 z06
